"Well, well, well." Boethiah's voice boomed. "It appears the heroes understand our little game. I for one, am not impressed." A booing filled the crowd. Boethiah's voice faltered for a second. "SILENCE!" The room went silent. "Within the Hunting Grounds of Hircine's realm, are terrible, stricken beasts. He has kindly loaned us a few for our very special hunt. Who will be put out of their misery tonight?" Her voice trailed off, and a cheering filled the arena again.

"Hircine? Gods be damned," Thoryn exclaimed, "What manner of werebeast will we be faced with now? It's a pity we've no silver to arm ourselves with, but it cannot be helped."

[Sloady]

"My weapons are made from ebony." He said. "And the werebeasts fall to anything that's not a regular weapon."

"No matter, they shall fall regardless," Thoryn agreed, once again hefting his shield and flipping his sword in his hand, taking an on guard ready position.

Actually, it would not, as Skyrim proves Silver weapons actually do more, that is bonus, damage to undead and werewolves in Skyrim

"Werebeasts? Azura..." He muttered, once again falling to the floor, breathing heavily. He took his canteen out of his pack, and took a drink, wiping the sweat off his forehead. "We've got to be careful. One bite and you're gone. I can tolerate vampires - not werebeasts. We'll draw them in, and circle them. Llarays and Qa'Mhirr, you pick them off, while we try to scare them into not attacking. We form a wall, with Night-Runner and his spear at the front." Leiden looked around the arena, and saw pikes, with decapitated heads mounted on top. "Get over here." He gestured to the others. He pulled the pike out of the ground, kicking the head off it. "We keep them at a distance, until we can overwhelm them. We can't let them charge us." He worked on getting a feel for the weight and length of the pike - though he'd mostly be using it as a spear, to jab at and ward off the Werewolves.

"Ok.." Night-Runner said to himself "Ok.. ok" He walked to the front of the group, closest to the large, dark archway that the vampires had swarmed from. He dropped his shield at his feet and raised his spear in both hands.

"I've fought werewolves before and my blade is silver." Night-Runner said, sweat streaming down his face. "They're fast, very fast, much too fast to outrun." "They're also very very strong. Leiden's plan is good, keeping them at a distance is smart." Night-Runner felt a little more confidant than before, werewolves he knew. "The way to beat them is in outsmarting them, magic or even simple tricks. and then a quick fast kill, decapitation if possible, they're tricky [&@%!] to finish off." Night-Runner didn't feel like he was talking to anyone in particular. He wasn't even sure if his companions were listening to what he was saying. He realised suddenly that the speech he'd just given was to give himself confidence rather than anybody else.

He turned back to the dark entance-way and held his breath, waiting.

"We need to distract them," Llarays muttered, looking at his arrows.

Oh crap, do you guys think Bonemold would work? It seems it's just right above Silver in terms of quality and such, but I'm not sure.

Qa'Mhirr walked up to Leiden, holding a spear in his hands, "Instead of using you and the lizard's bodies as meat shields, why don't we use these spear to make a spiked barricade? Stick the blunt end the ground at an angle and let the beasts impale themselves as they run at us," the khajiit gestured towards the other end of the arena, "We know what direction they're coming and even if they're smart enough to try to jump them, it'll buy you two the seconds to get a good shot in."

Thoryn considered his bow, but decided against it. Instead, he fell back and maintained his ready position. "We can't let them surround us, he said eyeing the wall behind them, "If Leiden and Night-Runner hold the flanks, and Qa'Mhirr, Veriax and Llarays pick off as many of the beasts as they can, I'll keep them from breaching through the centre, or die trying," he finished gravely, hefting his shield and planting a pike in the ground beside him.

"Here's what we'll do - we'll let them charge us." Leiden said, dropping his pike on the ground. "At the last minute, we'll pick up the pikes. If that doesn't get them, and you and Llarays don't... well, it's been nice fighting with you guys."

A roll of 45 kills, and a 30 wounds. Two 30's kill. Failing to roll a 30 results in injury, and failing to roll a 20 results in being infected

At that moment, the gates began to open again. Snarling could be heard, and you could have heard a pindrop. All of a sudden, a howl could be heard, and three werewolves came bounding out of the gates, heading straight towards them. "Hold..." He said. The werewolves were closing in. "Hold..." He held up his hand. "NOW!" He yelled. He grabbed his pike and...

He had moved slightly too slow. The pike drove itself into the thigh of the werewolf. It howled, and swiped at Leiden, and he jumped backwards, barely avoiding it's claws. He drew his sword, trying to get the beast to back down by making forward movements towards it. It was limping, but still extremely dangerous. "NEED A LITTLE HELP HERE"

"VERIAX!" Leiden yelled. He abandoned the werewolf he was fighting, jumping onto the back of the one that had bitten Veriax. He began savagely beating the werewolf with the hilt of his sword, until it reared, flying Leiden off. The entire plan had gone to hell - the line had broken - Veriax was dead. He could only pray Azura would see them through.

Qa'Mhirr saw Veriax fall and quickly took aim with his mounted crossbow, loosing one of his makeshift spider bolts into the werewolf that had just thrown Leiden off its back.
The bolt sunk into the beast's chest and fell over as magic fire cooked its internal organs, he sprinted up to the pair, out of arms reach from another werewolf.
"Leiden, get a hold of yourself, this isn't the time to go suicidal on us," Qa'Mhirr looked down at Veriax's prone form, "Survive, so you can bury the fallen, then you can go nuts."

Llarays quickly saw a werewolf coming towards Qa'Mhirr and Leiden, he let an arrow fly in a natural arch from his bow, it landed squarely on the beast's head, destroying the skull and killing it.

Night-Runner had only a second to take in what he was seeing behind him. Blood, gore... death? The third werewolf was warier than the other two. Leiden's pike pertruding from it's flank had given it pause. It limped, circling Night-Runner at a distance, it was sniffing the air in low forced gasps and it's fangs were bared. Night-Runner knew it was trying to find a weakness in his defense. Their eyes locked. The beast pounced.

With surpising vigor for one so wounded the creature came hurtling at Night-Runner. In one fluid motion Night-Runner brought his spear up, behind his ear and hurled it with all the might he could muster at the beast. As the shaft left his hand the world seemed to slow. His body tautened and he braced himself for what would come next. The spear flew through the air, and with a sickening "CRUUUuuUNCH" It had embeded itself in the creatures shoulder. The beast howled and its charge was broken. With two spears pertruding from it the beast was clearly mortally wounded. Yet it persisted. Loling to one side it half ran, half limped, moaning and snarling as it gnashed it's fangs together. Night-Runner drew his sword.

The beast fell upon Night-Runner with all the strength it could muster, roaring in both agony and anger. Night-Runner used this to his advantage, lunging backwards he avoided the clumsy attack as the creature tried to crush him under it's weight. The point of Night-Runner's downward stroke entered the beast at the shoulder and left at the groin. The ground was sprayed with blood and entrails and the huge carcass fell to the ground in a heap. Night-Runner let out a sigh of relief and dropped his sword to the ground as the spectator's went wild in the stands.

"THANK YOU, VERIAX!" Llarays yelled at the flying Dunmer.

Nightrunner, that werewolf was already hurt. Leiden hurt one, hurt a second one, Qa'Mhirr finished that second one, Llarays killed a third, and the first werewolf is still alive. You need to finish that one off

What? i thought Llarys killed that one with a headshot?

Werewolf A: Injured by Leiden with a pike. Killed by Llarys with a headshot.

Werewolf B: Murdered veriax, jumped on by Leiden. Finally killed by Qa'mhirr

Werewolf C: Alive and uninjured

Is this not correct?
