The haunch of meat now gleaming with tender juices, Layman removed it from the fire and devoured it in a few short moments. He sat back in his chair, took a few swigs from his mug of spiced wine, and settled in for the evening. Wind whistled through the stone corridors of the city, but inside the Shattered Axe, all was warm and dry. The elf found his eyelids growing heavy, and he drifted off to sleep.

"Not much gold, don't want to waste it before the adventure begins." muttered Mel. She made her way outside. She walked the cold dark streets until she got to her old haunt. She huddled under the door to Feduran's old house. It was a tiny place anyway, only one small room. The guard had locked it up, waiting to sell it off to anyone with the coin. It would never belong to street trash like Mel. Mel sat in the archway, the bitter sting of the cold wind on her face as she fell asleep.

Spoiler:
I haven't forgotten the healing Dro'Zhan owes Andarys yet! Although I don't think I want the RP to end at the 8th page....
The guards who were standing at the front gate were freezing, luckily they would be replaced by another set in a hour. A breeze blew through the valley below them and the bridge. "Gods, this night seems more unforgiving than ones before", one of the Nords spoke up. He recieved no reply.

A gust of wind rushed through the main street of Windhelm, whirling through the side streets and squares. One of the streets the wind shot through was wide and appeared to be a residential area. A large orc strutted down the street, every piece of his skin was covered in gilded ebony armour. He walked over to a young woman who was sleeping under a doorframe, and tapped her on the shoulder.

Spoiler:
I assume that is Mel he poked. I'll edit it if I have to.
Mel shook as she was startled awake. "What? Who are you?" asked Mel in an agressive manner.

Dro'Zhan strolled out of the inn, taking a brief second to gaze at the night sky and then set out to find a nice corner to sleep in.
He passed a few good spots, already taken by some of the local beggars already in deep slumber, going down unfamiliar streets and alleys.
Spoiler:
Can others see this Orc or is this visitation time?

Spoiler:
Yeah it was
The orc laughed at the aggresiveness of the young woman, "I'm sorry, but I am skipping the formalities", the orc sat down next to the breton, "You see you could own this house....".

---

The wind burst through an alley close to The Shattered Axe and built up an un-godly speed. It launched towards the legs of an unnaware khajiit who was grasping an amulet. Anyone who was listening close enough would be able to hear, "Where's your S'rendarr now", whisper on the wind.

---

Andarys tossed and turned in his bed as a sweat started to develop on his forehead.

"This collector and his announcement tomorrow", the orc's eyes shone red, "I advise you take the...challenge, but for the love of....for my sake, don't return the items he requires to the collector".

The orc walked away, "I know that this sounds vague, but I will be contacting you once you have gained the items in question".

He turned around to face her, "I guarentee you will not be dissapointed with the reward that you will recieve, although I do advise you take some others", the orc started chuckling. He turned back around and oddly, jogged off into the mist, and disappeared.

"That was strange." said Mel. "May as well hear him out when he contacts me again." Mel yawned and once again lay down.

Yeah, i'm trying to make it so Malacath plays each member he contacts, considering Mel is naive Malacath tried to appear nicer, for others though 'persuasion' may be a little more aggresive.

Oh, no bother. If you want you can act it out, or if you want I can just assume you are asleep in the room next door to Andarys.

@Chaos: Forgot to answer this several posts ago, nobody else can see it when Malacath is contacting someone, imagine it as a dream if you will, mind the wind is just Malacath trying to annoy you

"Dro-m'Athra renrij," he said aloud, "Come, filth, S'rendarr is merciful even to the woefully ignorant," Dro'Zhan smiled, "The gauntlet is thrown, let the zahb be fruitful," he whispered.
The Cathay went down an alley and sat amongst a collection of barrels, blocking most of the freezing wind, but not all.
He wrapped himself in the blanket he kept for just such and occasion, letting his mind wander as he tried to slumber warily.

Ocoto finished eating and bought a room. After thanking the owner, he went to his bed. For a while, he sat listening to the howling wind before he drifted off to sleep.

After a while, Neravine also went to bed, after a large meal. He listened to the wind, which almost eerily seemed to put him to sleep.

Voryn watched the other patrons of the inn turn in and finally decided to do the same, approaching the innkeeper he paid for a room and his meal, downing the last of what was not his first tankard of mead, he collected his staff and made for what he hoped was a warm bed, falling into slumber, his belly full, his heart heavy in this harsh, unfriendly land.

A robed man walked down the backstreet towards the khajiit, "I'm not going to lie, and I am hoping you will see reason, I am who you would call Malacath".

"Then it is an honor for this one to have garnered the attention of the spurned one," Dro'Zhan said with a mixture of intense curiosity and practiced calm, he waved his index finger slightly, "Make no mistake, Dro'Zhan is no dro-m'Athraiit and he will do everything in his power to stop you from causing harm to mortals." "Khajiit is not blind, you come to the spurned, what prompts such a visit," Dro'Zhan finally stood up, "Why do you not fusozay var dar, why so you not kill me?"

"Despite what most would rather think, I do not wish all mortals harm", Malacath paused, "An artifact of mine, it has been shattered, and it's pieces have been hurled across Tamriel".

"If you wish no harm come to mortals I advise that you collect these, three, pieces. They hold great power, and if put back together, well, it's safe to say the wielder of the artifact will hold this great power".

---

Andarys tossed and turned in his bed, getting odd images of a statue of Boethia, then a large shrine to Malacath. An image of a large humanoid, with Orsimer like features standing on a cliff-top overlooking a rather ominous ash storm spurning below him. The Orsimer looked directly at Andarys, this seemed weird, Andarys was dreaming, yet he felt as if he was standing there on the cliff-top with the Orsimer.

He looked down and saw his hands and feet, and his entire body, he was there. "Don't worry mortal, nothing is wrong, nothing will happen to you here, I would prevent it if something did, you're in the Ashpit", the Orsimer looked up at Andarys, "As much as it pains me to even mention it, I need your...assistance".

The Chimer started, "Wait, is this a dream, are you Mala...", he was interrupted by the Orc.

"Be quiet, little do you know it, but you, and several others, have an important place in fate, destiny if you like", he sighed, "I assume you saw the pieces...of my blade, although I do agree with my fellow...prince, Boethiah, that it would be amusing to watch the chaos it creates down in the mundane, I forged that very blade for myself, and myself only, and thus, no mortal shall ever wield it, or feel my wrath".

Andarys opened his mouth again, "I'm gue...".

"Be quiet for my sake!", the Orc had barely opened his mouth, yet his voiced boomed across the valley below them, "Now, I want you, to be my hand on Mundus, you shall acquire the pieces of the blade in any manner possible, I do not care, and I shall reward you, and if anyone chooses to assist you, and if they know your intentions of course", Andarys was sure it was Malacath now, as the Orc started to chuckle his eyes glowed a fierce red, "They shall be rewarded too, now, I dismiss you".

The world around Andarys started shaking and churning, the ground below him and the air around him started to dissolve. Malacath who was now walking away appeared to be made of sand as the wind blew him away, everything was black.

"I can't imagine your...Anticipations, and Boethiah, will be too happy about it".
"But do not forget".
"I'm watching you".
"And I always will be...."

...

Andarys woke up in a cold sweat, he looked out the window. Pitch black. The colour of Malacath's soul. He got up out his bed and moved for the door, and looked amongst the rooms of the other guests. This dream he had just experienced reminded him of a curse a daedra worshiper once inflicted on him, he shouted out aloud, "Who is the follower of Malacath amongst these rooms, who has cursed me so!".

Spoiler:
My section is pasted straight for the original cos i'm cool like that 8) . Oh I have to say, only me, chaos and mel will be contacted by Malacath now, but eventually the others will be

The Khajiit crossed his arms, "What is this artifact? This one could very well forging a weapon that instills bloodlust or kills its wielder..."

Spoiler:
Why am I terrible at references?
"It does neither of what you mentioned, but all I can tell you is that this artifact is my blade, my own blade", Malacath paused for effect, "Even someone such as yourself, a follower of the Aedra, could see how this does not bode well".
