Some of you may have noticed this is the second version of this RP, this is because I thought the original idea has huge potential, and I wanted to abuse this....so I made the second version for anyone who wants to have a look or can't remember all the info is down here:
The Setting
Tamriel. In the First Era 412. Tamriel is different to many of you remember it in the Third and Fourth Eras. The Mer are the most widespread race in Tamriel, but the young Nedes are slowly catching up to them, occupying most of northern and central Cyrodiil. The Mer have lost most of its territory to the Nedics by way of war, not by treaties and negotations. It started with a landing in the north and an uprising in the middle, and now, the Nedes are in control of the two most powerful states in Tamriel. The Mer on the other hand are in control of the most of the west of Tamriel with the Altmer and Bosmer in the south-west, and the Dwemer clan Rourken and the Altmer clan Derinni dominating the north-west. In the north-east the Dwemer and Chimer have come to an uneasy agreement which was forged by the two leaders of the races, Dumac and Nerevar, with the Falmer in the background, taking shelter in the Dwemer strongholds from the prejudice of the nearby Nords. In the south the Beast peoples rule, with the Khajiit and their Manes ruling Elsweyr and the Argonian lizard people in the Black Marsh. The Imga live in Valenwood with their Bosmer rulers, but none are landowners, and most lead petty lives, yet they are the last to admit this. Finally, the Ayleids, once the leaders of Tamriel’s most powerful empire, now cower in the Nibenay Basin, surrounded by enemies and no allies and sight. Tamriel is only young, yet diversity already flourishes.
Just ctrl+c/ctrl+v it into a seperate tab search engine or something like that.
*The orange one is the Ayleid kingdom of Kingdom of Nenalata
The Story
Malacath, the Creator of Curses, the Prince of the Spurned, the Keeper of the Sworn Oath, these are amongst many titles of the Deadric Prince. He was proud, he had created his finest work, made of the purest ebony, infused with the hearts of a thousand daedra, he named it the Sunder of Gods, as he was sure that if the blade cut one of the divines, they would indeed by wounded. Yet, one of the Daedric Princes was jealous. Boethia, the Prince of Plots, was angered by the sword, and how it inflated his fellow prince to great heights of confidence, Boethia in terms wished to knock Malacath down a notch. Thus, in a plan wrapped in treachery and cunning, Boethiah captured the blade, and sundered it into three pieces himself, and hurled the pieces down onto Nirn, in the hopes that the mortals would be too arrogant to relieve the pieces back to Malacath.
The three pieces launched like meteorites out of the sky, each one could be seen hurtling towards the planet from the far corners of the world, even the snake men of Akavir gazed in awe as the shards smashed into Tamriel far away, causing huge craters to form where they landed. Now, the race is on. Collectors and empires compete with each other to find the pieces and create the unknown. You are hunting the pieces. You can search for the pieces within a group, or by youself, but the former will be much safer. Are you searching for the pieces for a higher power? Wealth? Power for yourself? Or simply for knowledge? Your quest will become clearer the further you venture.
Races – Nedes Imperials: The Imperials are quite comfortable with themselves, a couple of centuries ago they freed themselves and wrested power over the White Gold Tower from their Ayleid rulers. They rule over most of central Tamriel, and have ventured into southern Volenfall. Their Emperor Ami-El rules from their capital the White Gold Tower, on an island in the hot, humid jungles of the Cyrodiilic heartlands. Nords: The Nords occupy most of northern Tamriel with borders stretching from Inner Sea in Resdayn to The Reach in High Rock, from the Sea of Ghosts to the Jerall Mountains. Their Empire is not actually an empire any more, as their last king, King Borgas, was killed in the Wild Hunt by a Bosmer, Skyrim is now ruled by a collective of people who rule over small areas of Skyrim each, these are called Jarls. Bretons: The Bretons are a trodden on race. Viewed on as ‘half-casts’ by their rulers, the Direnni Hegemony, they are quite often the lower class in each state of the Hegemony. Although the Bretons are under the boot of the Altmer, the end is in sight, the Nords and Imperials are encroaching on the Direnni, wishing to free their Nedic brethren from the rule of their Mer overlords. Kothringi: Not much is known about the Kothringi outside of their homeland in the Black Marsh. The Kothringi are a silver-skinned, tribal people, native to the lands of the Black Marsh and were indeed before there before the Argonians, but not before the Hist. The Kothringi have not been victim to the the Nedic-Mer tension, but the Alessian Empire nearby deeply wishes to annex the Kothringi lands in an attempt to ‘join their brethren’.
Races-Mer: Altmer: The Altmer were the first Mer to diversify and their known homeland is the Summerset Isle. In the isles they are ruled by an anti-Nedic group of politicians named the Thalmor. The other Altmer in Tamriel, are the Direnni clan in High Rock, which dominate the Nedic peoples of the region. The Direnni are the ruling class of the Hegemony and are viewed as very arrogant. Although they are arrogant, and often ignorant, they are not ignorant of the encroaching Nedes or their wish to release the Bretons from their rule. Bosmer: The Bosmer call their home Valenwood. South of the Alessian Empire, the massive woods and the migrating tree cities easily create awe amongst their Nedic neighbours. The Bosmer have received a cold-shoulder from the Imperials, as the Bosmer have provided Valenwood as a safe-haven for the many Ayleids fleeing the Nedes who wish to kill and enslave them. Although this tension seems to be dying down between the two states as the county; Colovian West in the Alessian Empire has recently resumed trade with the Bosmer. Chimer: The Chimer look much like the Altmer, but they have a grey tint to their skin. The Chimer occupy Resdayn with their underground allies Dwemer. Although the two races have great disdain for each other, the two leaders of the races were great friends and this is how an alliance was forged between the two. The Chimer follow the worship of ancestors and the Anticipations, and this had gained them great disdain from their Altmer cousins. Dwemer: The Dwemer look like the Altmer, but their skin has a blue tint to it, but only a slight amount, that it is barely noticeable in some cases. As well as that the Dwemer are prone to growing beards and having a large amount of facial hair, yet no one knows if this is genelogical or the other Mer just prefer to shave more often. The Dwemer prefer to live underground, and the main body of them live in Vvardenfall near the Red Mountain and scattered about Resdayn. Although another clan of Dwemer, the Rourken live in the Volenfall badlands east of the Nedic control. Falmer: The Falmer nearly look identical to their Altmer cousins, yet their skin is nearly white due to the climate of their original homeland, Skyrim. Yet they were pushed out of their homeland by the Nords, and now they live with their Dwemer brethren. They have yet to be corrupted by their Dwemer landlords, and have quite a cooperative relationship with them. Ayleids: The Ayleids, or the Heartland High Elves, are much like most other Mer, look like the Altmer yet they are more bronze-skinned than the Altmer. The Ayleids used to rule over the most powerful empire in Tamreil, but due to an uprising by their Nedic slaves, they now cower in their petty Kingdom of Nenalata surroundered by the Alessian Empire, the Ayleids hope of greatness is starting to dwindle, their hope, is now, impossible. Orsimer: The Orsimer, or the Pariah Folk, live in the Wrothgarian Mountains in the Direnni Hegemony, although officially the Direnni rule them, the Altmer never go near the Orsimer’s lands or Orsinium in fear that the Orc’s mighty warriors would defeat their own. Not much else is known by the Orcs either, other than that they provide safe haven to many of the beast races that reside in the surrounding areas, such as the Goblins and Ogres.
*We’re going by the assumption that Mer live slightly longer than Nedes nearly as old as 160, thus age comparisons are allowed.
Races-Beasts: Argonians: The Argonians made their homeland the Black Marsh, or more optimistically, Argonia. The lizard men worship the great trees, the Hist, which are like prophets to them. The Argonians live in a tribal society, often in cooperation with the native Kothringi Nedes. Their appearance can vary greatly, some have been reported to have the face of the ancient dragons and the body of a humanoid, and some have been reported to appear as crocodiles that can stand upright. Khajiit: The Khajiit and their leaders, the Manes, have been occupying Elsweyr for a very long time, longer than the Mer have been on Tamriel. They have a tense peace with their neighbours the Bosmer, which is occasionally interrupted by raids from either side across the border. The nearby Nedes don’t know much about their feline neighbours over than that they make great rogues and traders. Imga: The Imga, or Great Apes, are native beastfolk of Valenwood. They see the Bosmer as their lords and masters and as a portrait of an ideal, civilized society. Imga go to desperate measures to emulate the Aldmeri: they wear capes, practice with the dueling sword, and attempt to speak with perfect enunciation and courtly manners despite their gravelly, baritone voices. Each Imga bears some kind of title, be it Baron, Duke, Earl, or the like, which they use when addressing the members of the Thalmor, however there are no land-owning Imga. The Imga feel that Men are underneath them and pretend to find their scent exceedingly insulting.
*We’re going by the assumption that Beastfolk live slightly shorted than Nedes, with Argonians averaging 60-70 years, Khajiit averaging 40-55 years and Imga around about 40-60 years.
Even if you do wish to try and find the pieces of the blade, you have to start in the capital of Skyrim; Windhelm, as a renowned collector will make a speech outside his manor claiming that he will pay the man (or woman) a handsome reward who will bring him the three objects that fell to Nirn on the same night, as he believes they have some sort of correlation.

Here is my character sheet:
Name: Andarys Rethan
Race: Chimer
Sex: Male
Age: 45 (30-odd in Human years I’m reckoning)
Description: Quite tall, his grey tint is very noticeable, his skin is more like the Kothringi tribesman than the Altmer, his skin is a light tint of grey. He is very lean and muscular and can run for miles before becoming tired. He is also very agile and nimble in combat.
Background: Andarys Rethan was born in the stronghold of Andasreth west of the Red Mountain. Andarys had a lot of contact with the Dwemer in his young life, and decided that a life in a small Chimer stronghold was not the life of him. He started wandering taking odd-jobs and mercenary commissions, he currently has no home, and he is getting tired of 20 years wandering. He is now mustering up his savings to try and buy a farm in the Velothi Mountains, so that he can gaze at the mighty views of Resdayn and Skyrim alike.
Personality: He is a calm man in times of peace and aggressive in times of combat. He can be kind to his friends and hospitable to strangers. He can prove to be wise when talking and even wiser when he is not. He is seen many sides to Tamriel, but he refuses to believes he has seen them all.
Weapons: A chitin shortsword and Dwemer curved dagger, both were awards given to him by men he worked for. He also uses a shortbow which is strapped to his back.
Armour: A set of chitin armour bestowed on him by a Dwemer forgemaster who had befriended him in the stronghold that he grew up in.
Other Equipment: A family amulet given to him by his father before he left the stronghold. A coin purse filled with 150 pieces of gold, the rest of his gold is stashed in a hiding spot in an unknown location.
Name: Ocoto
Race: Altmer (What? I may hate those tyrannical Thalmor but most of my wizards are High Elves! And I love them!)
Sex: M
Age: 579
Desciption: Golden skin, haughty posture and blond-haired, Ocoto is the archetypal Altmer. His face is unblemished despite his old age. This is caused by his extensive research into the School of Alteration. Physically, he is neither too strong nor too weak but is in the middle ground between the too.
Background:He comes from a long line of handsome mages and wizards. He was involved in many wars between the Nedes and despises them like they are animals. This is because his father was killed in a battle with some Nedes. He will not attack them on sight but if they so much as look at him in the oddest way he will rip them apart and leave a charred body. He is a devoted worshipper of Au-riel (sp) and has many relics in his house. He despises anything Daedric, viewing it as a corrupted form of life.
Personality: Nede-hating, Au-riel loving, smart, brilliant, and extremely cocky.
Weapons: Spells and incantations (For those with the talent to cast them) of at least Adept level.
Armour: Enchanted robes.
Other Equipment: Magicka potions.
I liked this RP I was sad to see it die. I'll join its remake. Can I just post a modified version my old character?
Oh POMC you left out humble under personality.
Spoiler:
Name: Mel Ashford
Race: Breton
Sex:Female
Age: 15
Desciption: Mel has black hair that goes half way down her neck and her fringe covers part of her face. She also has brown eyes and a few freckles. She wears no make up and looks like a scruffy, weak and thin street kid. Bypassers would almost mistake her for a boy because of he figure and dress style.
Background: Orphaned at age five she has lived her entire life on the streets surviving anyway she can. She had to learn how to fight, sneak, steal and pick locks from an early age. She befriended an elderly Chimer Feduran Dalobar, a Priestess of Azura at age 7 who died a month ago. As a result she has gained a great respect for Azura and became skilled in destruction, restoration and alchemy. She inheritied what little Feduran had. She kept Feduran's old silver shortsword and small moon and star amulet, selling the rest.
Personality: Mel is a kind, humorous person with plenty of street smarts but is also pretty reckless. She generally trys to avoid hurting others and if she steals it is only to survive. Mel loves adventure, something that has kept he going during her life on the streets of Windhelm. Mel also has great respect for the chimer godess Azura, which would seem odd for a nede and is indifferent almost to all other gods. She hopes that one day she may too be able to become a priestess of Azura.
Weapons: A silver shortsword, her knowledge of destruction magic.
Armour: She wears leather armour and boots (oblivion style) and a small moon and star amulet she got from Feduran when she died.
Other Equipment: Motor and Pestle, 7 lockpicks, 3 loaves of bread and 79 gold pieces.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally? The last thing you never see
Name: Layman Arkthgnthol
Race: Falmer
Sex: Male
Age: Twenty-five (equivalent of seventeen)
Description: Layman has deep blue skin, dark violet eyes, chestnut brown hair worn in braids, and traditional white warpaint around his eyes and on his brow. He has a trio of scars across his right cheek from the claws of a bear. He's quite well-muscled from his daily escapades, with broad shoulders.
Background: Layman is an orphan, born to uncertain parents in the Dwemer city of Arkthgnthol, whose name he took. As a child, he killed giant spiders and skeevers for food when the charity of the city's residents was lax. As soon as he was old enough to make the journey on his own, he traveled to Skyrim to stalk the wild game of the steppes and tundra. He currently makes a decent living from the meat and hides of the animals he kills, even slaying the occasional mammoth and making a small fortune on the tusks and hide.
Personality: Layman is kind and generous, particularly towards the poor. He loves the thrill of the hunt and enjoys adventure for its own sake. He fancies himself quite the romantic, but at the same time generally prefers to keep to himself.

Armour: Warm fur armor, crafted from sturdy snow bear hides, and notably waterproof.

All good?

I failed at joining last time, but I wanted to, I'm glad to get a second chance!
Spoiler:
Name: Indoril Voryn Race: Chimer Sex: Male Age: 50s (equivalent of early to mid Nedic 40s) Desciption: Voryn is well built for a Chimer, the boon of years of service on the field of battle. He sports grey-blue eyes and wears his hair most often bound in a knot. His skin tends towards the golden of the Altmer, with the slightest grey tint. Background: Hardened under the oppressive rule of the Nords and now rendered even more weary of Man after the horrific sacking of Malada, Voryn has been raised in an environment where Man has become little more than a threat to the safety of his people. He was merely a child when the Alessian Doctrines were brought into force, but he knows their brutality all too well, as do most Mer across Tamriel, even outside their oppressive regime. Now, he travels into the heartland of his enemies, to Windhelm, in search of both glory, and a means by which to free his people from the oppression of the Nordic peoples. Personality: Voryn is a devout follower of his Hortator, Indoril Nerevar, and the First Council. He finds himself honour-bound to its service, and distrusting of men. He yearns for a day when Resdayn will be freed, and feels that this day will soon dawn, and so, he is ever preparing for the time when he shall be called upon to strike back for his people. Honour is above all, his most emphasised virtue, but his tenacity is unmatched in the service of his people. Weapons: Ebony Scimitar, Ebony Staff, Destruction Magic (yes, think Gandalf ) Armour: Indoril Armour, however, considering the time period, without the Visage of Nerevar, and without any helm to speak of, for that matter. Other Equipment: Travel rations, a small amount of gold, assorted potions of minor potency and assorted repair items of low to middling quality.
Spoiler:
Also, I find POMC's Altmer character, as ever, to be a total perpetuation of an ignorant sterotype
Also I don't think I mentioned this last time: After the announcement by the collector, we don't all have to be in the same party, although it is advisable, as won't only be bounty hunters after the shards....
Name: Dro'Zhan Race: Cathay Khajiit Sex: Male Age: Unknown Desciption: Dark Maroon Fur with cream white from his lower lip to his stomach, greenish yellow eyes, and, like most Cathay, is taller/more-muscular than the typically seen Suthay-raht (Probably similar height to an Orc, if slightly taller) Background: His ancestry is steeped in slavery by the Ayleids, his family was freed when the Cyro-Nordics took White-Gold tower and took it as a sign from the gods. The firstborn male of each generation is chosen from birth to be given to the Temple of the Divines to train as a priest when they came of age. Dro'Zhan is just one in a long line of Khajiiti priests in his family and his patron is S'rendarr (Stendarr). He discovered that life outside the monastery is not kind to his kind and his size only worsens this, so he traveled, spreading the word of mercy to all who will listen. It wasn't until much later that he realized that even his presumed curse was his blessing, he is often called upon to clear the wicked from various locations...but sadly, prejudices still prevent him from being allowed to preach openly. His family has instilled a deep hatred for Pelin-El and a minor distrust in mer. Personality: Kind, pleasant, and charitable for the most part, but internalizes a lot of anguish because of his vocation. Some fellow priests that have helped him clear caves of the wicked remarked that he tends to 'lose himself' when fighting becomes intense. Class: Healer/Crusader (custom) Weapons: None Armour: A simple iron cuirass and a pair of studded, steel gauntlets he carries at his side Other Equipment: He wears a dark grey, long sleeved tunic over his cuirass, dark grey hood with white trim, white-lightgrey trousers, and a moon amulet carved in the shape of an open paw/hand
I've been waiting for this to come back! Hopefully we'll be able to pick up the lovely Aedra/Daedra divide that was forming in the group when we dropped off...
Cool to have you back Chaos! The old team is forming now + Duruza, it's looking up, things are looking up. I have to say the first shard we will be looking for this time won't be in the same place as it was last time, I don't want a complete copy/paste.
I'll save the parrot-shouldering for another RP, maybe my non-verbal second character in BftE2 will be an Alfiq or Alfiq-raht instead of the proto-type dwemer centurion I had planned.
I might have to have something different with Dro'Zhan being my second active healer Cathay/Cathay-raht, Ka'Virr being a salty sawbones healer and Dro'Zhan being the compassionate and religious type.
But fret not my Aidan! For we're bound to be allies (again) with our worship of the Divines in this den of heathens and ne'er-do-wells
Name: Neravine Race: Altmer Sex: Male Age: 35 (around 25 in human-years) Description: Fair skin, dark blonde hair down to around his mid-neck. Usually dressed in an elegant robe of cloth and jewels. Around six feet tall. Backround: Neravine was raised by a family of somewhat prejudice, Nobles. His mother and father were very much Mer-supremacist, though he never agreed with them, as much as they tried to force him into their racism. At the age of ten, he was sent to Redayn to accompany some Chimer mages on one of their pilgrimages. He learned much from this experience, and was left with the thirst to learn more about this mysterious art. By the age of sixteen, Neravine began to experiment with spellcraft, though it was much more enduring than he had once thought. One day, he finally created a decent paralysis spell that he tested out on his pet goat. The spell only lasted for about five seconds, but was enough for young Neravine to realize his passion for spellcrafting and the Arcane arts. At 23, he moved to Derenni to be around more of his own kind, as well as to gather more knowledge. He has stayed here and honed his abilities to the point where he is fairly confident in battle. When the kingdom of Derenni heard about the uproar with the Sundered Blade, he immediately wanted to know more. Personality: Neravine is quite humble, though at times he can be hard headed, insisting on doing things his way. He dislikes warriors, seeing them as inferior to the mages that he thinks should rule this land, even though he is not prejudice against other races. Weapons: Ebony Staff, Destruction Magic, Alteration Magic.
Armor: Enchanted robes.
Other Equipment: Plenty of Magicka and Health potions, as he is well aware that the area outside of Derenni is harsh, and one should always be careful outside the city gates.
Getting a good bunch here! Oh goodness, I can't wait for the aedra/daedra divide to happen again, my character tries to be neutral but once a chimer always a chimer.

Chimer are awesome, and there aren't that many. I'm kinda waiting for a Dwemer though, and I see we have absolutely no pure blood humans for me to pick on.
Going to be starting the RP tomorrow or the day after, not sure, i'll wait and see.
I was thinking considering the time period, our search could be hindered by the opening of a war, i'm stuck in-between the war where Clan Direnni is invaded by Skyrim, Skyrim's war of succession or the war of the first council, although the third one is a bit hard considering this is set 200 years before it...
