The villagers were granted safe passage through Poland and given a boat. They sailed to Francia, coming quite close to warships from Chudes.

The warships gave chase, trying to box the ship in.

The ships carrying the villagers were further away from the warships. Some Polish ships sailed a few hundred metres away from the villagers ships, as if they were telling Fjell's warships to back off.

The warships decided to take the hint, reasoning that the villagers were more of an interest to Lorenzo. One warship did decide to tag along further, but not get too close. It wouldn't hurt to know where they were going.

The Polish warships went back to their home. The villagers continued. After a few days, they reached Francia where they were taken in by King Aidan.
