I would become one if only for that snazzy gilded white armor and the white weapons, but I don't feel like dishing out 5 bucks a month for this game. As far as gameplay goes non-member is just fine for me. So until white armor/weapons become available to non-members, I've decided to tote around a black 2h with steel pl8. (I could afford much better armor and weapons but I go for what I think looks best, especially since I don't go to the wilderness often, or whatever you'd have to do to kill other players these days)

I used to play runescape, it could be a good game if you could actually have more control in fighting. (In runescape, real skill has no affect, so if you good at the game, but have crappy stats, you will lose.) I don't mind the graphics much, but what rally made me quit was that 99.99% of the people were 4, wlaked up to random people and asked to be their friend, and other stupidity. So there.

Just wondering... are you sure that's not the untrimmed white armor, with the red feathering thing on the helmet instead of the gold trimming? Cuz I want the fancy gold-trimmed armor. lol, not that it matters since they're both member-only.LunarSweets wrote:Member quest..It's not too hard..You just do A bunch of quizzy tests...
Yeah, sometimes the other players can be annoying... that's why you don't have to talk to them as in any MMO, since especially big ones like Everquest and WoW have exponentially more players.
Annnnd, I've decided never to wear armor again in RS unless I somehow acquire the white armor with gold trimming, or if I wear a black-trimmed (but not gilded) plate body. I'm absolutely not interested in other armor anymore. lol. Although I might have a spare rune chainbody or some such other useful and yet easily-acquired rune-class items for when I want to kill things such as lesser demons once my level is much higher.

Hey, since Fletching is a member-only skill and arrows are pretty much WAY more expensive nowdays than when I last played, if I were to get anyone the materials (if it's possible for a non-member to get them) would they be able to make arrows for me? Apparently my range skill is a little below my melee and magic skills so I need to re-balance it.

oathbraker,i don't think non-memvers can at all make any part of an arrow, even if smelting, you can't do the arrow heads,although....you could collect feathers and logs.....
I need a good suppply too,so i just use bronze arrows, there only 5ea and i don't see too much of a difference between them and adiment

Ack, lol. I could still get the smelting bars to make the arrow heads though. Even if I can't make them, that kinda went with the question of "If I get the materials could you make them please?"
I'm on the verge of scrapping my character due to OCD issues, lol. I've already made a new one, though I'm not sure yet if I want to make it my main because it'll take quite a while to get the stats back up.

Even if you get us the materials it will still cost just about as much. Besides arrows are not that expensive to use. And there is a huge difference between bronze and addy lol! With bronze arrows and my dark bow I hit 10s but with addy arrows I hit 25s!
And with dragon arrows I can hit a 30-30 with my spec!

If someone could assist me in making iron arrow heads, I could give you guys some...free of charge
I can also make bronze, but those dont hit much for me...although, I think my max is 9, I can only hit 8's with Seercull and steels...

Lol, I've just kind of wondered this... I can get my new character's stats back to the balanced out "everything-at-45" range, but how long does it take to get a single skill from about 50 to 90? Up until about 50 you can easily get quite a few skills per day depending on how you play but passed that it seems like it would take days for a single increase, especially above 90... is that about right?

Sometimes I go on a low-populated world just to train at the goblin house, lol. I got all my combat stats to 20 really fast that way when I first started. The dark wizards near varrock are nice too. I don't really like training on monsters that kill me lol. Just as much exp regardless of what you're killing. Just might take longer because they can't take hits as high as 20+ etc. And lol, once I get into my new character I'm gonna make suicide runs on lesser demons to train my health points up faster.
