Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
Bella sighed with relief. "Duruza, I have to agree with the others. Your guesswork is uncanny. Well, I'm off to bed now everybody. Hopefully I'll sleep a bit better now that there are only 2 worshippers left."
Bella did just what she said, and went to bed.

Baelfalaan looked disappointed as he stared up at Deandra's corpse. "How an Altmer came to this is beyond me. May we find ourselves in better company come tomorrow..." He then walked to his house, enchanting magical traps on the way up the walk.

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
"Not guess work," Duruza told himself as he walked home, "Deduction leaves nothing to chance, I will find the worshippers, I will not let any more innocent blood be spilled so long as it is within my powers to do so." He was not entirely convinced by his own words, but he knew it had to be done, he could not apologise for this reality, he could only endure it as best he could. He returned home, placing his Katana once more on his bedside, and drifting back into a slumber as disturbed as the last, different hypothesis and theories chasing each other around his head, none of them were pretty, none of them pleased him in the slightest.

The Lt scratched the back of his neck. "Looks like I was wrong about you, Duruza. My apologies, brother..." He muttered gruffly. "Well, gods dammit all to Oblivion. I'm gonna turn in. Good luck, Duru." With that, he turned and stumped back to his house.

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
The village awoke the next morning to find Na'zahn's head mounted on a stick, alongside the heads of the other victims.
Another innocent dies, rumbled the voice of Molag Bal. How many more must perish before you realize you have no chance?

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
Bella awakened from her sleep, as the voice of Bal rang through the village.
She rushed to get dressed and get outside to see which of her friends had been murdered this time.
She stopped when she came into sight of Na'Zahn's head.
"Oh, Divines no.."
Bella slumped to the ground in despair, "We are all going to die...."

Buck woke up and went out. He hasn't slept all night. Looking at Na'zahn's body, holding ale in his hand: "Wha..? What happened? I'm still alive... Does that mean... There's more of them. I guess I'll wait for Duruza then." He then proceeded toward a bench in the town square, and sat on it, drinking.

Irvam walked out of his house and saw the Khajiit's head mounted alongside the others.
"Oh no," he gasped, "Who would kill Na'zahn?"

This time clad in pearlescent white robes, Baelfalaan descended on the town square slowly. "It appears they have taken yet another innocent. It is getting harder and harder to tell who is what, and I don't like that."

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
Duruza was slow in rising this day, although he awoke at the crack of dawn, he sat at his table slowly nursing a bottle of Vintage Brandy he had been saving for some time. Who are the killers? he wondered, over and over, Who must we condemn to the block this day?
He finally rose, taking a final sip, and made his way outside.

"What do you mean you didn't like him Sigmund?" Irvam asked, "Perhaps he was targeted to cast suspicion on you?"

Bella stamped her foot at the silence of the group, "What are you all doing?! There are KILLERS in our village! We should be trying to figure out who they are, not standing around looking at our shoes!"

"Well who do you suggest?" Irvam said, turning to Bella, "maybe your eagerness for blood is only a manifestation of a greater evil?"

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
Bella flicked her hair, and fixed Irvam with one of those looks that only a woman can give.
"My eagerness for blood? You're saying that, because I want to catch the killers, I must be one of them? I have my thoughts, but I think it would only be fair to wait for everyone, so that people have a chance to defend themselves. But if you want to start throwing accusations around now, then fine. But you will only draw suspicion on yourself."

Duruza watched the exchange intently, "If you have your theories, now is the time to share them," Duruza probed, "Let not the our lives rest in the hands of one, but of us all."

Re: Molag Bal Game XIV
Bella turned to Duruza, "Well, I have voted for Sigmund once before. Admittedly I changed my vote, due to your influence. But I still have my suspicions of him, and in all honesty, both LT and Irvam have sparked my curiosity on occasion. I will admit that I am not sure of any of these, but as you say, I am just sharing my opinion. I think I will need to hear the views of others before I can vote with any conviction though. What about you Duruza? You have guided us well so far, both people you asked us to vote for were indeed worshippers. Who do you suspect now?"

"I do not yet want to state who it is I have suspicion for," Duruza replied wearily, "but the next moments will be telling, and I hope they only reaffirm the suspicions that I already hold."
