Fame 1, Infamy 100

My infamy has been around 20 points higher than my fame for a while, sitting at around 60-40, well, not sure what happened, i didn't do any specific quest, i finished the thieves guild and DB quest a while ago, didn't screw around with the cowl or anything. All i did was close a random oblivion gate and now my fame is at 1 and infamy is a 100. Any ideas as to what did this or a way to fix it?

You are certain you are not wearing the cowl? Cause the cowl does such a thing. You could try console commands?

If your truely broke, try
setpcfame blah
setpcinfamy blah

Replace blah with the amount you want them to be!

yeah, i wasn't wearing the cowl, but i think something bugged out or something when I wore it a while back, I just used the console command to fix it, thanks!

did you do the sanguine shrine quest while wearing the cowl?
