Re: Muppets vs. Ponies
Having grown up with both (that's right, your Bronies - I was liking MLP before you were probably old enough to suck your thumb), I have to say The Muppets. They taught deeper meanings and went on to educate people as well with the advent of Sesame Street, which is one of the most watched educational programs in the world!
So, I'm sorry, but Muppets without a doubt! If the polls were working I'm sure you would find it was true!

I want to vote for ponies, and the thing says my vote is invalid. Conspiracy! (Glarthir voice).
In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.
If it's alright, then you're all wrong.
But why bounce around to the same damn song?

I didn't really watch The Muppets, and as I said earlier, I'd never watch MLP, so I made the "What in God's Name?..." option for like-minded people.

Re: Muppets vs. Ponies
I never watched the Muppets, but this does not make me a hater, of course it doesn't. I'm sure it's good stuff. My mom used to watch it with her grandmother about 25 years ago. She is quite positive about it.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:MLP is so far away from anything I would ever like and/or watch I can't really even comprehend it.
Norroen is, of course, the exception to this last statement.
I haven't watched the older MLP either, but the newest is great because it's kind and humorous.

You want a brilliant show? Phineas and Ferb. It is truly one of the best programs on television these days.

No, I can't even joke about that, the Muppets are so much better than the Feebles on so many levels. Although I did like their sodomy song...

Re: Muppets vs. Ponies
Poke'trio wasn't to bad, as it was only the three... and was humorous at times. What in God's name?...
Ponies are why I have Avatars turned off. It is the only way I could (can) take some members seriously. I like to (try to) go beyond first impressions and appearance.
The internet is just faceless people behind a computer screen. People (should) try to use their Avatars, Signatures, and even usernames, to identify themselves... but you have to step back once in a while, and ask: What does this say about me. I get it, on a fan boy/girl site... wave your flags and show your colors...
but don't blame me if I can not take you serious in a religious/politicial (serious) discussion... when your face is a pony... or any other silly cartoon/movie character. [/grouchy old dude]

Re: Muppets vs. Ponies
Why the hell would I ever have to choose between these two? Is it inconceivable in some people's minds that I can enjoy more than one thing at once!?
GRRRAAAGH.
Well, even though the last Muppets movie was less entertaining than expected, I still vote neither.

On our TV, it is aired in Russian (duh). The translation is quite acceptable, as far as I can judge.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:In Russian?Norroen Dyrd wrote:Agreed!
