Assassin doesn't seem to fit in the list, considering Assassin is simply an occupation, not a class. A Mage, Warrior, or Thief could be an Assassin.

Assassin. Something about sneaking in the shadows and waiting for that perfect kill is a lot more thrilling than charging into one place and killing everything like a Battlemage. And, for some reason, bows seem a lot more appealing to me than most weapons.

im in between War/Mage=Battlemage...best at nuking and getting rid of opponents quickly and hey why not conjure a few things to distract you while you through yourself in with heavy armor a few destructo spells and a massive longsword.

Though i have a thief char as well...LOVE the sneak just go into any cavern shot a few amazingly placed arrows shots from crazy distances (love how the fly backwards when got a crit hit...though doesn't always work on high difficulty ><) then loot the place.
