The smiling rat sent a letter to king leo asking him if it would be ok to send some of his army to aid a muslim as a deal to make sure he doesn't attack europe and aids europe in their edvaours.

Azeem then left one hundred troops guarding the bridge, and took the other five hundred to the river. Using shovels, swords, and even their hands, his men excavated a massive pit roughly a thousand yards from the river. A connecting canal was then constructed, which drained the river and left the moat dry.

The smiling rat looked at his letter and noticed a spelling error, "not to attack Europe by attack with Europe, specifically under the command of me, I shall see if I will be able to send you some of my men. You have my word." this was sent to azeem

Skyr sent a letter to the villagers, asking what they won't, since they are in danger, due to the proximity with the bandits.
Also a secret letter is sent to the bandits chief:

I suppose that my lands are one of your wishes, aren't them?
So what if you unite your forces with me?
I will make you rich, if you defeat my enemies.
