"a secret chamber in my castle leading off to a forest.." the smiling rat said grinning fondly "it was only until a few months ago I heard of my sons death.." at this his grin saddened a lot "how did he die..?"

King Aidan paused for a minute. "He drank some poison."

[The-Shadow-One]

"some poison? I did hear he called himself the frowning serpent?" the smiling rat said laughing "he always was a snake boy, I remember once when he was younger..." at this he shut up, he then continued walking pained that he did not notice the fight and that he did not help.

"Well, my ship is waiting." King Aidan marched away.

The smiling rat went home and started to rebuild his army and kept his daughter in his castle.

[Skyr]

Skyr sent a letter to the villagers, offering to come in his lands, to live. He asks what they prefer, to leave their huts for better ones, or to live between bandits.

The reply stated that they would abandon centuries of their lifestyle for a power-hungry idiot. They also threatened to seek foreign aid.

Azeem ordered his men to blockade the bridge. "We'll starve them out!" he said.

[Skyr]

"If this is what they want, they will have it." Lorenzo said, then he move the troops at the border and ordered the construption of a wall, in order to stop the bandits.

As the moat was connected to the sea, they shipped any food up the small river. The archers slowly thinned Azzem's men.

The wall was frequently attacked by bandits, who were tearing it down almost as fast as Skyr's men could build it.

"Fall back, out of range," said Azeem. "Five hundred of you, stay here and keep them from getting across the moat. The rest of you come with me."

Azeem took the other hundred men out of the city and around to the entrance of the river. Using rubble and debris from the city, they filled the river with rocks and wood to make a dam. The men stayed there to prevent the caliphate's supply line from taking it apart, and Azeem returned to the main siege.

Together with a herald and his two lieutenants, Azeem rode out under a white flag. "Caliphate!" he said. "No more supplies will get in to your city. You face a slow death of starvation and thirst if you continue on this course. I, Azeem Edin Bashir al Bachrim, promise that you shall be treated with mercy and respect if you surrender now! You may even keep your wives!"

"You really are an idiot!" Yelled the Caliph. "If you haven't noticed already, I own half of the city!"

The dam was attacked by four hundred soldiers. They killed most of the army guarding it and demolished it.

Wait. In order to do that, they have to leave the city through a second gate, march around to the river, and kill of my men. I was under the impression there was only one gate. Second of all, this caliph only has one city, so shouldn't he have around two hundred men?

I'm having issues with a certain caliphate who's gotten it into his head to start a rebellion. He has friends in high places and his troops are causing trouble. Any assistance you could send would be welcome and the favor will be returned in the future.
