Cactus is right, Will-o-the-wisp it is.

Also not ALL the lines refer to it, it could have easily been a wraith or a ghost.

No, but I said" But be warned it MAY NOT be as clear as day." Which could mean it might not be as easy to see, which wraiths aren't in dark dungeons. I could have made it like that.

A book that can't be read,
Power not worth having.
A long-term feud will end
One way or another--
your choice.

Wow. Worst riddle ever (in form). Enjoy.

Triple-damage elemental poison, I choose you!— Guess who I favored over the other? Mind you, Argonians are immune to poison... ;)

Fingers of the Mountain.

I will unlock the door. But to get me in the first place, you must breach that door and then pass through a bloodstained night.

Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.

You weren't supposed to do another question. You already had one up and that is the question that everyone has to answer. It's not right that you place a new one up after the first guess. If anything now Lunar Sweets should be able to make a riddle now, since you answered your own, thus canceling out your new riddle.

Close enough. Actually, the door to the Abandoned House above the Sanctuary. I found it funny that the key which allows you to enter the house without having to break in can only be obtained by breaking into the house.

I realise I'm out of turn, but I've been sitting on these and they're burning a hole in my pantaloons - think of these as free questions for fun.

1: Name five professional artists living in Cyrodiil, and their media.

2: Six visitors at the party on the hill,
Three brothers, three others.
One brought guests who had already left,
One brought guests who couldn't stay away.
One brought a guest you've known all your life,
One brought a guest you've just met today.
One's repartee kept the party up all night,
And the last wallpaper toad bathtub antlers horseradish socks.

Who are they?

3: Bless my cotton socks! Or don't, after all,
Four know me, but none alive do.
One's where the one saw the many mighty fall,
Find him, he could introduce me to you.

For the record, yes, it was Fingers on the Mountain.
I usually try (but fail) to make them a bit harder, but I had a terrible headache at the time. Though, at least it stumped a couple people.

Re: Sir Fred
#1-
Rythe Lythandas, painter
Chanel, painter
Jesan Sextius, composer
Astia Inventius, painter
Modryn Oreyn, painter
Dark Minion, painter

That's probably wrong. Though they're all artists, a) only one of them is a "professional" and b) one of them is from DLC.

Yay! I just like that Cyrodiil has so many creative types, really. I also had in mind: Salomon Geonette, Composer; Quill-Weave, Writer; Casta Scribonia, Writer; Alessia Ottus, Writer.

I actually considered the writers, didn't know if you'd accept them. And I KNEW there was another composer. I just couldn't remember the name or where they were, just remember talking to them.

Okay, couple of hints:

2- You can carry these in your hands.

3- You can carry these on your KNEES! Thoronir can set you up with them, too.

No disrespect Sir Fred..But I'm making a new question so this wonderful thread doesn't die...

My question...

The Blood of an Heir,
Is the key to this lock.

Who is they Heir, and what is the lock ?
...and diplomacy continues to fail. Their ears fall deaf, and their eyes fall blind, yet they are still not mute. They will not know their errors. Only what they believe themselves. But we... we shall not be silenced.

None taken! Ahwell, I'll let slip the answers:
The six visitors are the Staff of Worms (brings back those who have departed), the Staff of Everscamp (brings scamps who won't leave), the Staff of Corruption (brings yourself to yourself), the Sanguine Rose (brings one of the infinite daedra), the Staff of Sheogorath (his voice stops time itself) and Wabbajack (Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack Wabbajack).

The final answer was the Blue Silks - very few people wear this rare garment, and most as a skirt without stockings - only the dead scholar at the bottom of Sideways Cave, where Meridia destroyed the Ayleid interlopers into her shine, wears them as breeches with long stockings.

Wow... those answers... man. You're good at making riddles. I fail very badly at it. Just because I think it might've been hard for ANYONE to get #2... very impressive, really. I honestly wouldn't have thought to think of those answers. :)

I did think someone would get #2 - there's six special staves and three of them are Sheogorath's artifacts, and most everyone plays with them at some point. #3 was just kind of for fun - because I searched for an age for breeches with stockings in 'bliv, but most are rugged farmer's wear. Those pants are damn unique! Unique pants!
