Chorrol, definatley. It's where my house is, and it's my favorite town. I got hooked on it after searching for the countess's painting, and it just seems like a great place.

I know, I know. A lot of people think that the Chorrol house is bad, but I got it because I honestly liked Chorrol. Really, I think the Skingrad house is for munchkins and people who like Skingrad, and I am neither.

I think what I would do is gather up a bunch of UESP guys/gals and become Count Cactus over County Cactus. Doesn't exist you say? Does now. All are welcome!

Anvil I think. The bracing sea air, plus the fact that I've got fairly high disposition with Maernlon in The Flowing Bowl and sell him most of my stuff!

I'd like a house in both districts, so I could stay in either depending on my mood at the time. However, if I had to choose one or the other, I'd say Crucible, because I tend to spend more time there when I'm in the Isles.

Ohhh, agreed Battlehorn and Frostcraig Spire are my choices. But if I had to chose one, then it would Battlehorn. I would LOVE to have my own castle.

I just don't understand what people like about Anvil. I mean, it's small, the houses are quite shabby and don't look beautiful, the harbor is small (compare it with the Waterfront District!), the only good things in my opinion are the Lighthouse and Benirus Manor.

Imperial City is big and it offers many facilities, but it's so...standard. There's no special sphere around there.

So I'll take Skingrad, because of the houses that are located close to each other, the way they look, Rosethorn Hall, the Castle that's just beautiful in it's design, the small streets, the path through the middle of the city, the wine fields around the city... it's just perfect.

I'd say rebuilt Kvatch, that way I could lead the Dark brotherhood and the mages guild out of there, plus I bet the houses are nice and I'd have a huge basement w/ asecret rom with a portal to te throne room in the shivering isles.

I would either live in skngrad or cheydinhal.

Although Kvatch rebuilt has an arena and Bruma is cool looking...

And alsewell gives you a free room and brindle home is quite nice...

I can't decide!!!!
Well wrap me around your neck and call me a pedant.

Why rebuild it? Turn it into an Oblivion city! Add chairs, beds, stores and NPC's (friendly Dremora of course) to the city and some Great Oblivion Gates as portals.

Wait, that sounds like a nice mod idea.. I'm right now going to work on it!

Why live in one city, when you can move throughout all of Cyrodiil being undetected? I sometimes train at Dive Rock, I move into Bruma via Jearl's secret passage to sell stolen goods, don't forget Smuggler's Cove in Anvil for storage, and lastly you can easily move through the Imperial City undetected in the sewers. However, if I really had to pick :( , I would probably choose Skingrad or the Imperial City.

Yes but my character has got all the houses in Cyrodiil and he sometimes lives at Dive Rock/IC sewers and I do use the Chorrol/Anvil house (for add-on/expansion pack storage and thieves/assassin's stuff storage respectiveley), but my primary hous is in Skingrad and that's the city I love the most.
