She emerged on the other side. "You made it." screamed the redguard in joy. "I...want to thank you for everything. I'm Jonah Hickim."

"Who-who are you?" said Isabeau while looking at the naked Redguard and stepping back. "The Werewolf?"

"I have no doubt it will," Fendryn replied, accepting the Hide. He took a moment to don the artifact before stepping off into the distance, not waiting for his remaining companions to pass through the portal. He had changed, grown, over his journey through the Hunting Grounds, he had become more than he had ever been before The Hunt.

He knew that the trials of Hircine would weigh upon him for the rest of his life, he knew that the deaths of his fellow hunters would haunt him as he walked the mortal plain without them, but as he ventured off towards the horizon he knew, deep within his soul, he knew, I will never forget. Fendryn Dreloth would never be the same again.

Isabeau looked at the Redguard, and at the Bosmer.

"Well, you're welcome." she spoke with the Bosmer and accepted the ring. She looked at the Redguard and with joy in her face whispered "Come with me. Let's find a cure for your disease." in his ear.

Isabeau couldn't stop to think about the fallen though. They weren't her friends, but the situation made them create bounds. She placed the ring in one of her fingers and decided to get out from the Hunting Grounds, with the Redguard.

For the first time in years, she had a new purpose in life. She would try to aid this new friend of hers, just like he did in the many fights that were held at Hircine's domain. Without forgetting the ones she knew.

Ormis walked through the portal, and saw that only one artifact remained. He smiled slightly, and picked it up. He observed the spear, before looking down to the Imperial City. He sighed in happiness, happy to breathe the air he was so familiar with. He looked at the robed man, giving him a nod, before looking back at the city. He began to walk back to the city.
--------------------------------
After The Hunt, Ormis bought a house in the Imperial City. He polished his spear almost every day, and brought upon himself to wander the wilderness of Cyrodiil, killing bandits and helping farmers, donning a purple hood. One day, he never returned to his home, but instead, to Aetherius. He had been found at the bottom of a cave, a spear in one hand, and a bottle of mead in the other.

The ghost of Llavyn Zainab, Dunmer witchhunter, peacefully slipped into the realm of Aetherius, confident that Hircine had been bested, and glad for the brave heroes who had defeated him.

Celidwen and Gro'Mar were never heard of again. If they died, escaped, became werecreatures or are still in the hunting grounds is unknown. The spirts of all who had died peacefully passed on, knowing their work was done. None of the mortals ever discovered the identity of the widowed bosmer they killed in the temple. Hircine continued his existance and his hunting. The bloodmoon lowered in the sky. The hunter had been bested.

The End
----

So that is the first RP I GM'd over. I'm happy with how it turned out and how everything went. What did everyone else think? Did you like it? Was I a good GM?

Spoiler:
J'Kavarz's ghost was content to walk in the afterlife in Atherius always watching his surviving friends. The huntig grounds was the best exprience of his short life and he had no regrets.
And this was great fun I say we make this more annual and do it again.

I was surprised you all said no to the fight each other offer. Especially Matt.

Like I said, it wasn't in Alt's character.

Edit: which, by the way, is a name I plan to re-use at one point.

It was great. You should start another one right away, if you're up for it. Maybe barren tundra as the environment? Either that or inhabitable Vvardenfell.

Maybe. I won't be GMing anything for a few months with school and all that. I might make a Hircine's Hunt II set in a different era and environment. Only time will tell. I definitely want to GM again at some point in the future.

Added a victory song to the ending post.

I must say that I always thought if anyone would stab the others in the back it'd be Alt, although that's probably because I always thought that if there was to be a sole winner it'd be he, what with being an archer, never really straying into danger and his general tact in that regard.

I was going to write a full on epilogue for Fendryn, but I think I'll reuse him one day in a full-blown RP. I'd definitely interested in a Hunt II in the future, it was really grand. I'm surprised there were no Redguards or Orcs in this one though.

Also, in retrospect, I probably should have taken more Intelligence and maybe less Perception!

Great RP Kerr!
