Leiden chuckled. "See? This stuff is worth every cent."

Llarays woke up, with his tongue out and his hand in an... awkward position, to say the least. He sat up groggily, and immediately collapsed because of alcohol. He pointed to the bottle Leiden was holding, as he assumed it was more alcohol.

Spoiler:
Thoryn rose and begun to dress himself in his armour. Regarding the smouldering embers of the fire and the sorely depleted woodpile that lay a little way off, he then headed out in search of more wood for the fire, leaving his companions to address their various ailments.

'Humorous, interesting company you keep' Qa'Mhirr sighed and walked out of the room, deciding to find something to eat.

"Enough of this." He said. "Let's have some breakfast and begone from this place." Leiden got up, and put on his armor, piece by piece. He then grabbed the plate he had used to boil the tea, and smeared grease on it before putting five slabs of wild boar meat on it - bacon.

Llarays took a raw piece of venison from his pack, and began to cook it.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
The meat on the platter began to sizzle and cook. It left off an aroma that the nine themselves would have envied. But that didn't matter. Because it was his. And they couldn't have any.

When the meat was cooked, Llarays took it and bit off a big piece of it, chewing it slowly in his mouth, savoring the flavor.

Thoryn returned carrying a large bundle of wood. "That should be more than enough to last us until we move out," he declared, "we should be leaving soon enough as it is," he added, sitting down beside Llarays and making a meal of some scrib jerky and bread from his pack.

Qa'Mhirr returned, some fish on a sharp stick in hand, he stuck them near the fire.
The fish were rather small and cooked quickly, he pulled them out and let them cool before gnawing on them.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
It was now that Night-Runner realised he lacked the basic supplies to feed himself out here in the jungle. He decided to have one last search of the camp, to check whether he had missed any useful little items he could scavenge. He was just looking over the twisted bodies of the Dwemer machines, when he found something perfect. A cruel spike about a foot long was protuding from one of the machines' back. He kicked at it hard and it broke off at the base.
Collecting this he headed out into the jungle. It didn't take him long to find a tree with long straight branches. He cut off a stick about 6 feet long and began whittling at it. After about half an hour he had a long smooth spear shaft. He rammed the spike onto the head of the stick and secured it with some twine he had "borrowed" from Llarays' pack. His spear was complete.
"Perfect" he said to himself, admiring at his woodsmanship.
He collected a few apples from a nearby tree (a lucky find) and began munching on one as he headed back to camp.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Leiden wolfed down his meal, and washed it down with a small sip of water from his canteen. He then began to pack everything away again.

After the meal, Llarays stood up. "I'm ready," he said rather loudly.

Leiden finished packing away his gear. "And I too," He said, strapping his sword on, and putting his pack on his back. "Let's get going. We have to make up for the last two days. We're heading to Gnarr Mok... though if we don't make it, we can stop by in Andasreth."

"Why Gnaar Mok?" Llarays questioned stubbornly. "It's not like we might be safer there."

"The let us be off," Thoryn said, swallowing the last mouthful of dry bread and gathering up the last of his belongings, he was eager to depart.

"It's better to follow the coast, we don't want to get lost inland," Qa'Mhirr replied to Llarays, he finished his fish and double checked his satchel.

"Hmm," Llarays muttered. "We're likely to encounter caves and more monsters near Gnaar Mok. Possible deformities of sea creatures, affected by the ash."

"We're also more likely to run across other travelers, stranded seafarers, or an outpost along the coast," Qa'Mhirr shot back, "Unless you want to risk the slim chance that there isn't more horrendous things near the mountain."
Qa'Mhirr scratched his mechanical fingers lightly on the wall, "We have no guarantee that there is a path to Vivec farther in and the sea will always provide food for us."

"Let's just stick to the plan and head up to Gnaar Mok," Thoryn said, "unless there is a particular reason you wish to avoid it Llarays?"

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
As Night-Runner returned to camp he saw that the others were packing up and almost ready to go. He took a last bite from his apple and tossed the core into the undergrowth. He sat on a rock and reached into his pouch for a second apple, waiting for the group to move out.
