The advisor of land arrived at the throne. "Sire, we have accrued enough resources to build a new town."

the advisor of land comes in "my king, we have enough.. for a town.." Jonathon smiled "to show faithfulness to my faveourite ally.. We shall build it to the east, it shall be part of my land and his. send for a scribe and ask him if he wishes for this to be true." he stated. he smiled once more "do we have any criminals wanted from the lands?"

The advisor replied. "Sir, a bandit is raiding caravans along the road."

Jonathon smiled "get the guards to cover the roads on my side.. when they find this bandit, cut off his manhood and flay him, dont kill him." he said darkly. "now get the carriage ready, I seek for me and my family to visit our friend, Aidan."

The army of 200 men defeated the bandit's 50 soldiers with only one loss. They paraded the bandit leader around before mutilating him.

Jonathon and his family started to set along into the territory of King Aidan, upon arriving Lily and Ash stepped outside and waited on their mother.

Two guards escorted them in. They were armoured in iron chainmail with a blue over coat. A white cross was on the over coat. "You are the Moir family?"

In the great chamber of the palace Madama Lorenzo Skyr have summoned all his nearer man.
"the Pope have too many allies, here in Europe, and people won't contrast him. If we want to surpass his power we must increase our number!" stated the nobleman, while all the contributor looked to his figure interested. " we must contact the pagan kings of the north, in hope to find new allies. Also I will soon start a new campaign, in order to increase my army, recruiting every man, and woman if necessary... a new war is ready to start, and we will be winners! Per la vittoria!" finshed he, in the racket of the partecipans.
A letter is sent to the Scottish and English kings.

"Yes, I only just recieved your invitation. I present, My wife Kimberly" Kimberly curtsies "My son Ash," Ash bowed his face hard "and my daughter Lily." Lily bowed "We hope to be of a nice alliance" Jonathon said smiling "any terms I need to know about?" he asked about the alliance.

"The king will tell you more." Said the guard. He led them to the banquet hall. The king's family were arranged at different sides of the table.

"Ahh... King Johnaton! Please! Sit with me!" He pulled up a chair beside him on the long table.

Jonathon calmly sat beside Aidan, and his wife sat beside him "hello King Aidan, I have heard that my guards have captured the bandit attacking the caravans on the roads." he said, ash sat opposite his father and Lily sat as far away from the famil as she could.

"That is excellent news. He was plaguing that road for a while." Spoke Aidan. His son sat beside Lily and began a conversation. "Now, will we discuss the terms?"

"we can, but I have one question would you like the bandit's head?" Jonathon said smiling wickedly. Lily looked at sam and just listened to him, Ash went after Claudia talking to her. "I'd say that we'll have to protect each other's borders, and not do anything with discussing it with the other."

"You can keep that." Aidan looked slightly unnerved. "And we will aid each other in battle."

Jonathon smiled and simply said "I will do the best I can to help.. but don't expect much in power.."

"As the two greatest kings of Alba, we must unite. Only through toil have we kept our independence."

"the two greatest? dont flatter us, that only makes you more suspeicatble to daggers to your back.." Jonathon said smiling once more. "how do you propose we unite? betrothal..?"

"Seems my daughter is going well with your son." Jonathon said calmly pointing at Lily and Sam.

"Well, if they consent then we will have to prepare a great feast in honour of the joining of our new families." Aidan clapped his hands together.

"I know that Lily will consent." Jonathon looked pointedly at her.

"And my Sam will. Then it is settled. We will begin the arrangements."

After much celebration and wine, the Smiling Rat and his family departed. One was a fiancée to the Prince of Strathclyde.

901AD:

Winter came of Europe and it heralded a New Year. The two families were long married. Aidan was on his throne, planning to colonize France. "Get the ships ready. We are spreading to mainland Europe."
