Around 360 degrees Kelvin, by the way.

I am having forest fruit tea as we speak, with a pinch of sugar on top.

I used to do that, but I always spilled it everywhere.

I actually have these bowls that are sort of built like large cups, so spilling isn't as much of a concern.

Re: Tea Enthusiasts of UESP - unite!
You know, I have separate mugs for coffee and separate mugs for tea. I can't exchange them. My tea cups are my tea cups, and my coffee cups my coffee cups. I am way too OCD.
On the other hand, I also found these hidden away in my cupboard: my Turkish tea glasses from Istanbul! Ah, good times. These Turkish tea glasses, which are pretty popular, are thin waisted and I remember them being referred to as having a "tulip shape" - which is fitting, since the tulip originated in the lands of the Ottoman Empire, where the first major commercialization of them started. Turkish tea is brewed strong, and you actually pour the tea concentration into the cup first and then add hot water to make it as light or dark as you prefer. With a tiny glass like that, though, you usually sit around for a while drinking tea!

That sounds like the way to drink tea.

Re: Tea Enthusiasts of UESP - unite!
Similar to having coffee in the morning after breakfast, I do like a cup of tea in the evening, after dinner. I think it has to do with the warm liquid helping the digestion.
Unsimilar to coffee, I like Ice Tea a lot, especially an Arnold Palmer, half tea and half lemonade.
Unfortunately, being on the road so much, I tend to just take whatever tea is available at the Hotel... so I do not really have a favorite blend/type of tea I drink.

Re: Tea Enthusiasts of UESP - unite!
I'm like regular tea (forgot what it's official name is). When I drink tea, I drink it a lot. I'm probably the reason why my family has had to restock on tea in the past year or so, lol.
And nothing can be tea on a cold night! Warms you right up. = )

Oh, tea! I love tea. Especially darjeeling tea. First blend right out of Nepal... delicious.
Re: Tea Enthusiasts of UESP - unite!
I couldn't live without tea I have at least 20 cups a day at weekends, although I stick to water at work during the week. Earl Gray is my tea of choice, I find that it's more sensitive taste means that I can't drink the regular char any more. Strangely, I never used to like EG (used to love PG, Tips as a lad, they had chimps in their advertising and gave away collectors cards) but I was trying to impress a lady with my sophistication and that was what she drank so I started. The only good thing that came out of that relationship was the EG.
The good thing about PG Tips was it was great for dunking biscuits (I think you seps call them cookies), a nice cuppa and some rich tea biscuits couldn't be beat, I didn't ask for much as lad.

The only way I'm able to get through my last class is with the help of mint tea. It makes you alert, yet calms you at the same time... I'm about to go get some right now.

I went to an Afghan restaurant in Philly once and I had an Afghan iced tea, unsweetened, and it was probably the best thing I've ever tasted. Sadly I forget the name

Nothing says "Thank goodness Monday is over" like a cup of Tazo's Calm tea - a nice chamomile. Mmmmmmm! I feel better already!

Re: Tea Enthusiasts of UESP - unite!
I only drink chamomile if my stomach feels queasy--I think of it more as medicine than something I'd drink for enjoyment. I mostly drink Earl Grey because it's one of the options they have in the office kitchen (and I'm too cheap/lazy to bring in my own), but at home my favorites are rooibos, darjeeling, orange pekoe, jasmine, or just plain green tea with dried wolfberries floating in it
Edit:
Edit:
I have a lot of family in Rio Grande do Sul (where my father grew up) so I think of that as a social drink, not something I'd brew for myself to enjoy on my own. I don't actually like the taste of it.Archea47 wrote:yerba mate anyone? I take mine in a traditional gourd, argentine grown 1 year maturation low dust
