Magic schools differences?

I'm playing daggerfall from the bethesda website as a high elf mage, but I can't find where does it says the school of each spell (destruction, illusion, etc).
There is a symbol difference, but I don't know what do they mean. And checking the uesp every time I want to buy a spell is tired.

Can someone help me?

I thought the symbol was about the school but, it was just referring to the element of the spell (fire based, shock based, etc).

the effects of each spell (you can see them on your grimore) tells you wich school is (with the link of dragonalumni)
