Frontier: Vvardenfell

"No problem," Llarays replied shakily. He looked at Qa'Mhirr's hand. "Ouch," he exclaimed.

[Chaos the N'wah]

"YOU! You're not injured! We'll sit on your shoulder!" Qa'Mhirr said suddenly, climbing up and sitting on Llarays' shoulder; he breathed on his frostbitten paw to warm it.
"Yes, yes, of course, give it time, it will pass, Nchow," he was shivering slightly, "A thtithil no longer!" he whispered to himself.

"If it weren't for my depleted magicka, and no magicka potions, I would've healed that hand by now," Llarays said, walking a little towards the room where his other companions were.

As the group emerged into the sunlight, Thoryn raised his uninjured right arm to shield his eyes from its glare as they adjusted to the light.

"Let me take a moment to catch my breath," he panted, "I should be able to fix up this shoulder when we get a moment to rest."

[Sloady]

"We can't continue on like this. We need sleep." He said. "We haven't slept in two days - we have to stop, and rest. We'll stay here for the day. I might as well show you all the route while we're here..." He laughed. "I think it's fairly obvious we can trust each other now."

[Sloady]

"Back to the camp first Veriax," He said. "And then sleep." He laughed. Together with the group, he walked towards the camp. "It should be safe here." He said. "And I'm too tired to care." He chuckled.

[Sloady]

"Hey," Leiden said, semi-angrily, but more cranky than angry. "You got sleep. I haven't slept at all. I'm sleeping. You eat if you want." He dropped his pack on the floor, and took out his bedroll, proceeding to lie down on it, and quickly fall asleep.

"Yeah, what about the time you fell asleep and let the spiders get us..." Llarays mumbled under his breath, but not antagonizingly.

[Chaos the N'wah]

"We've had enough sleep, keep watch, hmmm, yes!" Qa'Mhirr jumped off Llarays' shoulder and wander off, he could be heard talking to himself the whole time.

Llarays found a rat. Killing it swiftly with a swing of his broadsword, he gave it to Veriax.

Thoryn had managed to extract the crystal fragment from his shoulder and proceeded to cast a brief healing spell, before bandaging the wound as best he could with one arm, considering its awkward position. At Veriax's call he rose and began to search for kindling in the nearby bracken.

Night-Runner sheathed his sword in it's nice new scabbard and wandered into the scrub beside the ruin. He collected up twigs and pieces of wood, but also large amounts of bracken and ferns, Lacking a bedroll like the others he needed something to sleep on.

[Sloady]

Leiden slept soundly and without incident for several hours* before finally awaking just as the sun went down. When he did wake, he had an important decision to make.

Yawning, he got up out of his bedroll, and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. "We have a decision to make, men." He said. "We can stay here for the night, or we can go on. I won't lie to you - I'd be nervous about going out there at night. But it's your choice - you're in this as much as I am."

Qa'Mhirr was sitting away from everyone else, his demeanor almost hostile, "It would be death," he said at a mere whisper.
"Let's do it!" he rasped maniacally, he wandered over to where Thoryn had thrown a soul gem fragment, he picked it up and put it to his head.
"Nothing, nothing, nothing," hr continued to talk to himself, "waaaaaaaaiiitttt," a small wisp of magicka flickered between his forehead and the fragment.
The threw the dried blood caked fragment to the ground and smashed, "Hmm, somewhat there, not quite."

[Sloady]

"Are you okay Qa'Mhirr?" He asked. The Khajiit had been acting oddly since the soul gem had exploded. "Are you sure the Magicka didn't addle you a bit?" He laughed.

[OblivionDuruza]

"We should rest here the night," Thoryn said, "but let us keep the fire going and take turns taking watch."

[Chaos the N'wah]

"We all paid a price," Qa'Mhirr hissed, "if we can find more gems, they can purge us," he said this calmly.
The dagi-raht half-ran out of the light, searching.

"Considering Qa'Mhirr's sudden craziness and Thoryn's shoulder, I think we should rest for the night."

A small pebble flew out from the shadows and hit Llarays in the knee, "WE heard that, S'wit!" Qa'Mhirr's voice was farther away.

Llarays coughed. "We're all N'wahs in this part of the world."

"Well then it is settled," Thoryn sighed, "but we must do something about the Khajiit, does he always act like this?"

[Chaos the N'wah]

The sound of more shattering gems resounded from far away, followed by laughter.

[Roadcone]

Night-Runner had collected enough bracken and ferns and was just putting the finishing touches to his "nest." he turned to the rest of the group,

"If there are creatures prowling out there, and i know there are, nix hounds and worse, his yelling and screaming is going to bring them right down on us."

[Sloady]

Still in the stronghold Chaos.

"He's not being crazy." He said. "C'mon Qa'Mhirr." He said, running after him. "There'll be more gems where we were ambushed. They should be able to do what you need." When he finally caught up to him, he gestured to his shoulder. "C'mon. You're hurt, and tired."

[Chaos the N'wah]

"No, no, no, NO!" Qa'Mhirr's large ears were flat on his head and fur standing on end, "Maybe YOU can sleep like this, but WE can't."
"We talk and scream and howl and bray and moan! We must find the SILENCE!" Qa'Mhirr vanished, his teleportation kicking up a small cloud of dust; all was quiet.
