Re: Hircine's Hunt

Post by Elenath »

Cool, thanks!
I'm working on my character, should have her up shortly.

EDIT:
Here she is! She evolved while I was making her. I'm a bit surprised by what she's turned into, but I think this'll work.

Name: Celidwen
Race: Altmer
Age: 27
Sex: Female
Appearence: Light gold skin, greenish gold eyes, dark brown hair. Not that tall for an Altmer, but still tall compared to everyone else.

Personality: She's not bad at fighting, she's just good at running away. For her, surviving is a priority, everything else doesn't matter. A head-on fight is not the best way to survive. Neither is putting someone else's life ahead of your own.
So she doesn't mantain connections. A friendship is only mantained until it's a liability. An alliance in combat remains until it's not useful any more. She's learned to see other people as nothing but tools and opportunities to the point that she's borderline sociopathic, but she's good enough at hiding this that few people ever suspect it.

Biography: Her short life has been one long streak of bad luck. Sure, everything she went through was an adventure, and she's not exactly sorry she went through it, but by this point she's ready to stop being the target of kidnappings, attempted murders, and giant snow bear attacks and settle down somewhere. Preferably somewhere with walls, but at this point she'd almost settle for just a ceiling and fireplace.
Of course, the universe doesn't really want to cooperate with that dream.

Likes: Fresh fruit, running (preferably not from something), going for a month without being attacked.
Dislikes: Whoever stuck her in this life/cursed her with this luck, going for days without food, people who look on the bright side of everything, bears.
Fears: Hammers (just don't ask), getting stuck in adventures, becoming a 'chosen one'.

Weapons and Equipment: She has a good, dependable, steel short sword. If she's asked for its name, she says it's called Clarion, mostly because that confuses them enough for her to change the subject. Aside from that, she carries around some string, a dagger, and anything else she thinks will be useful. As long as it doesn't weigh a lot.

Apparel: A simple green tunic and pants, worn under a good set of leather armor.

Spells: Levitate, Waterwalking, Shield, Conjure Flame Atronach, Paralyze, Fear, Invisibility, Frost Rune, Heal Self, Frenzy.

S: 4
A: 10
P: 6
I: 10
E: 5

Major Skills: Athletics, Alteration, Illusion

Traits: One Hander, Gifted.

Nothing can go over 10 so all picking small frame will do is make S4. Also you are only allowed 5 Major Skills.

Spoiler:
Ahh thank you Cardbird. You got the last spot Hydro Gun.
RP has started post out of character comments in spoiler from now on.
The mortals were all taken from their beds by werecreatures as they slept. The mortals now awaken in a small damp cave covered in moss with a cold stone floor. Outside they see nothing but the large silhouettes of pine trees and a bloodmoon in the stary night sky. The cave is lit by a few dim torches. The only way in and out of the cave is blocked by rusted iron bars. It appears there is a way to open it, but only from the outside.
Spoiler:
Take this chance to get to know the others. The real action will be starting tomorrow.

Thaer would blink his eyes having a fog of morning over them, he would proceed to stand up stretch and look around his surroundings, a cave that smelt horrible and wet, around him he would see others, he would proceed to sit down by the fire and wait for people to wake up.

Althalos sat in a corner, slightly disoriented. The last thing he remembered was hunting a hippogriff deep in the jungles of Valenwood... What a majestic creature that was. Alt thought fondly. Where am I? Pine trees? Clearly not the jungle... I'd think I was taken capture by a native tribe, but they wouldn't take me out of the jungle. And who are all of these people?
Spoiler:
Seriously, read the Valenwood lore page on the Wiki. Some really cool creatures live in Valenwood.

"I am Thaer, Wood Elf of Valenwood, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. So, you are Tar-Maan, and who are you?" Thaer would say as he stood up and looked at the exit that was blocked. "I doubt we'll get out of here, this thing is rusted to the point that you would need five orc's to pry it open." thaer would then sit back down by the fire and poke it with an arrow. he would then look at the one sitting in the corner, "Who are you?" He would say as he scrunched himself up for warmth.

Isabeau woke up and couldn't think properly. Her head was heavy. Why was she inside a cave with many different individuals?

She blinked twice and stood up while trying to answer Veriax's question.

"Wha... What? Who are you?"

"you won't need a mage to find out that I'm an argonian... and I don't think that you are interested on the rest of my story. By the way, somebody knows why we are here? Many people, and of different races togheter, with different weapons and armour... That sounds odd to me, could it be.. that we are dead?" Argued Tar.

"If we were then you'd be in a cave full of Hipop. not other people. I am figuring that we would kidnapped, that or we are left her to be killed and tortured. Most likely the kidnapped one, but you never know. So, I have wondered, who are you people, and what would we have in common that someone would find interesting?" Thaer would say as he stood up and paced, so that his limbs didn't get numb. He would pull out and arrow and playfully toss it in the air then catch it.

The silhouette of what looked like a giant bird passed the bloodmoon in an instant. The forest fell silent.

Thaer went completely quiet and looked past the opening. "Should we hide the fire in case that bird comes looking for food, it looked like it could knock the blockade down?" Thaer would then look around the room seeing a Dunmer an Argonian, a Breton an every other person wasn't within his sight range. "This will be interesting if it breaks into a fight."
