What do you think happened to Jyggalag? Is he still in some plane of Oblivion organizing his Knights and Priests to march on the Isles once more or has he decided to retire from godhood to organize books by, name, colour and size.
Personally I would feel kind of sad if he was forever gone. It's understandable that during all those years he was
Spoiler:
cursed to live as Sheogorath
all his followers would have died out and Jyggalag erased from memory.
Perhaps a Skyrim DLC could involve a revival of Jyggalag worship?

Or maybe I'm confusing those with the Knights of Order. Been a while since I've played Shivering Isles.
Yeah the Knights are Daedra but the Priests are people. If you loot their robes you can see. Also
Spoiler:
some people you meet in the SI become priests during the plot, like Felas Sarandas and the Duke/Duchess of the opposing side you chose during the Ritual quest
Because he always turned back into Sheogorath. Now he has returned permanently to his own form. I would expect a Daedric Prince to want power so that begs the question of why hasn't he tried to gain followers in Tamriel.

becuse he cant after the oblvion crisses?
dedreas even then really could not manfest that well, let alone who is not really that well known, after martin sheild the link betwen the two, and had many pepole turn form dedrea worship.
I know he couldn't come to Mundus (at least at that time) but Gods can obviously communicate with mortals even after the Martin's sacrifice.
In Skyrim some Daedra manifest themselves on Mundus (and I'm not talking about those glowing Oblivion Blobs).
Spoiler:
Nocturnal and Sanguine
So if Daedric Lords can now appear on Nirn again, I just want to know WHY wouldn't Jyggalag want to gather followers. I mean there has to be some kind of explanation, the developers can't just expect players to forget that there's another Daedric Lord somewhere in Oblivion.
People from the Isles can come back to Nirn as well (as evidenced by him in Skyrim) so it shouldn't be too hard if a mortal can do it. Also considering the sheer amount of Isles inhabitants who turned against Sheogorath during the Greymarch and became priests it would be feasible that some still wish to serve Jyggalag instead of Sheo. They then (using the same mysterious daedric oogabooga magic Dervenin used [or whatever]) could come to Nirn and spread the word of Order.
But considering the original posts question you seem to think Jyggalag is gone forever?
I doubt he's gone forever. Probably incredibly weak due from lack of followers, but I'm sure there's probably still a couple of them worshiping him in some dank cave somewhere.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
The loading screen in Skyrim for Peryite mentions he's a god of Order now, instead of just ordering tasks. Maybe he fused with Jyggalag somehow?
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

He was always the lord of Order, but of a different sort. He has a penchant for disease. So im thinking he is more of the daedric lord of Order thru Balance. EDIT: he sends disease to stop over population
Daedra as a whole tend to cause chaos with their worshipers, so perhaps Jyggalag doesnt care for mortals and is happy keeping Order on his own plane.
I always thought of Peryite as the God of Order in the sense of ordering beings around and Jyggalag in the sense of things being in order (eg. books categorized alphabetically, by colour/size)

Me, too, but the loading screens call him the Prince of Order now.
Also, it's frigging cool to imagine Jyggalag fought Peryite and they merged together somehow.
Coolness is the most important thing of all in unknown lore. That's where Monkey Truth comes from.
