Ubisoft is very prone to ruining franchises I love. Rayman? Oh, I know! Let's make fart jokes and add evil bunnies! Splinter Cell, one of the most acclaimed stealth series of all time? Let's drop the realism, focus on run 'n' gun gameplay and generally take everything that made the series good and original out! Yaaaaay!

Do you still play Splinter Cell? I stopped after Chaos Theory and never touched multiplayer. I think I've still got them all floating around here somewhere.

I made it halfway through Double Agent on the PS2 when it first came out, then got bored. I recently picked up the collection (All games minus Conviction) up for the PC and played through all of them again, except Double Agent because it had frequent graphical glitches and generally wasn't that appealing. I played Conviction once at a friend's and hated everything about it. He swore up and down the wall that it was the best Spliter Cell ever made because they finally "dropped the lame ass slow pace stuff". He and I often disagree on video games

I can see why. I still play Chaos Theory every once in a while on my original Xbox.
