Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
If there would be anything I would add to Skyrim it would be Magic and Archery killshots, building your own home, dragon mounts (maybe), and pretty much everything else

I'd add everything except the dark dungeons.. Especially if they have spiders in them..

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
I think Dark Dungeons would be more like, adding EXTRA dungeons, not converting old dungeons.
Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
Spears, do it now Bethesda!
I really hope that they don't include Dragon mounts for the player. Might be nice to see an NPC enemy mounted on a dragon though.

Enchantable arrows!
**** YEAH!
Now, seriously:
Assassin's Vision? I need to know more
More stealth based magic is great, but should have been there in the first place
Smarter Enemies that replace torches should have been there in the first place
Darker Dungeons should have been there in the first place
Spell combinations should have been there in the first place (It was actually promised)
Magic and Ranged kill cams should have been there in the first place
Overall pretty great, hope it comes to console.

Hmm, Mounted combat, a lot of people wanted that.

Dragon mounts would be very... interesting, if Bethy could pull it off right. Spears? Please, there's a reason they've been banned from TES.

People, don't get your hopes up. You aren't going to get any flying mounts from Beth for the same reason there is no levitation spell.
The whole game is designed with the assumption that the player can't fly, you can't just ''fix' that with a patch.

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
Open Cities, the Mod, is already doing just that though. It's possible, from a technical perspective, I mean just look at Morrowind and Oblivion and now this Mod, but Bethesda most probably won't do it.
I'd tend to agree, but the Spear combat in the video looked kinda average

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
We need finishers moves for both Mages and Archers, something similar to how the "finisher" moves in Fallout were with a sniper.

Two-handed, but there was some footage where the PC was swinging the Spear, as opposed to actually using it properly.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:Were they two handed or one? I haven't watched the video yet.

Even so, I would never have expected to see a Spear wielded in that manner.

Wow. Let's just leave spears out if they're going to be quite THAT lame.OblivionDuruza wrote:Two-handed, but there was some footage where the PC was swinging the Spear, as opposed to actually using it properly.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:Were they two handed or one? I haven't watched the video yet.

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
Wow, way to be pesemistic, the character only swung it in a finishing animation. Normal attacks are just regular thrusts.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:Wow. Pessimism is just another word for not being optimistic.
Though to be honest, it would be a lot more fun to have glaives, or make some spears one-handed so you can use a shield like the the knights of yore.

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
I have to agree, for Spears to really work, there has to be some kind of Ancient Greek influence, maybe One0-handed and Two-handed varieties as there are for every other melee weapon type?

Re: Gahh! New DLC info.
Good idea. Halberds would also work, with an axe head and a spike on the end, so that both slashes and thrusts would at least make sense.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:Though to be honest, it would be a lot more fun to have glaives, or make some spears one-handed so you can use a shield like the the knights of yore.
