can i delete the patch ?
can i delete the patch ?
when i first got the 360 and oblivion i installed the patch without knowing what it would do. i figured it would fix parts of the game that normally froze. now i cant get the unlimited money off of that guy or anything. anyone know how to delete the patch. i erased everything that i had saved or created but i dont think it worked. i havent tried to get the money yet but it didnt ask me if i wanted to download the patch again so i dont think it worked.
Hmm
I don't have XBox, nor do I know anything about XBox. But it seems to me that the patch should be somewhere on the hard drive?

i havent tried this yet but take out your hard drive and unplug the ethernet cable, then start the game(you wont be able to save) and see if the glitch works, if so then plz let me know i dont have much time to try it.
ive already gone through the dashboard and checked EVERY file but the patches files are hidden and you cant remove them without(im guessing) a mod in your xbox360 and with live you cant start a game without getting the patch.

What if you uninstall the game, then re-install it without patching?
If that doesn't work then put the hard drive on a PC, enable showing of hidden files, and search the folders and registry for references to Bethesda.
I don't know much about XBOX, but I would imagine that it uses the NTFS file structure, so you should be able to add it as a secondary hard drive to any PC running Win2000 or higher.

The XBox uses its own file system. I'd imagine it's loosely based on NTFS, but it's different enough that you can't view it with a Windows machine without some kind of help. I'd also imagine that hacking this would be way more trouble than it's worth. Look at the original XBox, it was hacked by a bunch of kids who had nothing better to do and just wanted to put Linux on it.ScamIam wrote: I don't know much about XBOX, but I would imagine that it uses the NTFS file structure, so you should be able to add it as a secondary hard drive to any PC running Win2000 or higher.
You know you really don't have to go for that long before money becomes boringly easy to obtain. Once you start getting decent quality weapons off bandits and in Oblivion gates, it takes barely any effort to become a millionnaire.
I recommend getting your Mercantile up so you can sell to anyone, then sell everything 800+ to Rasheda the Smith in Chorrol, (she has 1200 gold) and anything less than that to the Khaljiit woman there (who loves you if you've done a certain quest).
Even in early stages, plenty of caving and mining will get you heaps of gear.

Thank you.
There once was a Prince named Mehrunes
Whose buttocks sounded sonorous tunes
‘Twas an odiferous song
People sang before long
They had enough of his full crescent moons.
