Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"My name is Night-Runner," Night-Runner said, picking himself up and beginning to march.
"And there are many of my kin in this area, but we move around alot, i have no idea where they would be now."

"I see." He said. "At least you're not organized, then. I bet the explosion kinda shook up your plans for Morrowind."

"I bet they weren't even planning about Morrowind before the explosion." Llarays offered obnoxiously. "There'd be Dunmer to counter them. With the explosion clearing Vvardenfell, the opportunity shows."

Qa'Mhirr jumped down, heading over to the argonians' supplies and pocketing what he could carry of rations, leaving the rest. Coming up to the throwing spear on the ground, he grabbed it with his left hand and wrapped his tail around it, dragging the weapon, almost twice his height in length, behind him as he ran after the others marching on.

"By explosion, I meant the eruption." He said. "Horrible days... my parents fled to Skyrim afterwards." His thoughts drew back to the Jarl, and his mind was filled with sadness.

"So why is it that we are heading to Vivec?" Thoryn inquired to Leiden, "and from where is it that you hail," he added as an after thought.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Night-runner turned his head away from the others, leaving them to talk with eachother. He looked back at his pack slowly fading in the distance. His sword and many other useful things were in there, escape would be difficult. Still, he couldn't help but let a small smile creep across his face, strapped to his leg, hidden by his boot, was a long straight skinning knife.
"These fools didn't even search me." Night-runner thought to himself as he walked onwards.

Llarays was observing Night Runner, meanwhile, and he perfectly turned his head away when Night Runner grinned. Doing so, he missed the hint of betrayal shown by the Argonian. He drew his sword and slayed a rat that had been running towards the group.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Failing to catch up with the group, Qa'Mhirr disappeared, leaving behind the throwing spear. He reappeared, sitting on Leiden's right shoulder, only the relatively light weight of his crossbow slowing down on the Dunmer.
Perched, he didn't say anything and closed his eyes, resting for the moment to make up for the lack of sleep and heavy lifting the day had wrought; he swayed slightly with Leiden's movement.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
He was mildly startled by the Khajiit's placement, but laughed it off. He scratched under it's chin, and made towards their destination.

Qa'Mhirr's leg shook slightly from reflexes, he continued in his half-asleep state and began to purr

Thoryn feel into line behind Leiden, watching the Khajiit bobbing on his shoulder amusedly.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
The group trudged on through the lush forest of the abandoned Vvardenfell. A light drizzle of rain was the only noticeable hardship they encountered - and as the red sun bleed the sky orange as it set, the intrepid adventurers caught site of Berandas.
"I still can't believe that inlet dried up," Leiden said. "That volcano has changed everything on Morrowind. My maps are almost completely wrong." Finally, he saw it. The Dunmeri Stronghold of Berandas. "We're almost there guys. Pick it up!"

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr's ears perked up and he opened his eyes, "This one imagines that a lot of valleys and rivers were filled with ash and settled to ground, Khajiit wouldn't be surprised if lakes are now plains or islands big peninsulas."
He put his hood up and rang out some of the rain that was settling in his fur, remaining perched on Leiden's shoulder.

"I'd say the land would be more lush." Llarays offered. "The destruction of the few plants and the nutrients in the ash would allow for more plants to grow." Llarays stopped. "We should now scout it. I don't see any monsters on the top."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"There must be some horrid swamps down south then, if you're right." Leiden said, and kept walking. "I'd imagine this place was pretty dangerous at some day, but from what I know of the Oblivion Crisis, there shouldn't be any of the Daedra that used to be inside there."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Come on," Leiden said. "Let's get inside. If we can, I want most or all of it scouted, but I've heard there can be tunnels underneath - wherever we're staying has to be boarded up tight. We'll split into two groups - one party looks around for any danger, the other fortifies us inside. I'll lead the scouting policy."

Llarays pondered which group to go into. "I'll go into the scouting group, seems to fit my style more."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Qa'Mhirr would prefer to do what he's normally hired to do, scout," he said, jumping to the ground softly, "Khajiit isn't exactly a bastion of physical strength, not so good for boarding up doors."
"Plus, this one's eyes could use a break from the sun and torchlight."

"I shall remain behind and lend a hand with the fortifications," Thoryn said, "you don't need any more hands for the scouting party; and someone must keep an eye on the Argonian," he added with a slight, cynical chuckle.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Well, then, let us split up." Llarays walked a bit forward, crashing into a wall.
