War on Harvest

[Belgarion98]

"Yea...uh..." Bobby fumbled for his radio, applying deep breathing to get his nerves under control. "Here you go. Try to call in an orbital missile or somethin'. I'm going to go look for a weapon, in case of any ground troops."

[POMC S117]

John threw Bobby an Assault Rifle. "This radio's broken." He yelled, throwing it on the floor.

[Belgarion98]

" I guess we better take up defensive positions," Bobby said, his nerves restored. "Unless you've got a better plan."

[POMC S117]

"Take up point! Adam, Patrick, Markus, take point at the door." Said John, lifting his gun up. "Bobby, with me."

They walked through the building. Light trickled through narrow windows, casting an odd light on the room. Outside, the Phantom whirred quietly. "Up the stairs." Whispered John.

[Belgarion98]

Bobby went up the stairs.

[POMC S117]

John followed, activating his visor. He pushed open the door and was on the roof. Bricks were scattered on the tiles and the Phantom hovered directly beside them. John crouched and turned to Bobby. "Follow my lead."

He counted down from three and charged at the Phantom, jumping inside it and taking the Grunt manning the Plasma Cannons by surprise.

[Belgarion98]

Bobby took a deep breath. What he was about to do was crazy, absolutely crazy....Then he steeled himself...He remembered his family back at home, his wife and kids. He was fighting for them. He was an ODST trooper. Feet first into hell...And back out again. He jumped, saw in the split second the ground so far below, and the next he was feeling soft grunt flesh as he ripped it out of it's seat and sent it plummeting. "What next?" He yelled to John.

[POMC S117]

John didn't hear him. He opened fire at the Brutes in the ship. Two of them hit the ground, blood pouring from holes in their ape-like chests.

[Belgarion98]

what should I do know?Thought Bobby. He daringly jumped from the cannon turret into the main hull of the ship, making his way towards the cockpits. a lone Brute was at the controls, but to focused on dealing with those two pesky Soldiers, so he didn't hear Bobby coming up behind him until Bobby sunk his knife into the thing's flesh. Bobby dragged the Brute away and took to the controls.

Spoiler:

Just a friendly reminder, you write the actions, I write the outcomes. And do not control enemies.

John finished off the remaining enemies and began collected whatever grenades he could find. "I have something better planned."

[Belgarion98]

Spoiler:

sorry

"What's your plan, John? Do we wanna land this thing?"

[POMC S117]

"No. We don't know how. Get ready to jump." John put all the grenades in a pile at the controls. He turned one of the Plasma grenades on. "Go! Go! Go!"

[Belgarion98]

Bobby ran for his life. This was such a hectic day."Yaaaaahhhhhhhhh!" he screamed, the adrenaline rushing through his veins.

[POMC S117]

John leaped off of the Phantom, landing on the soft snow. There was an explosion and the Covenant ship began billowing smoke as it descended rapidly.

[Belgarion98]

Bobby landed face-first in a snowbank.

[POMC S117]

The Phantom crashed into some dead trees and disappeared in a sea of smoke and fire. Markus, Adam and Patrick exited the house as three warthogs drove up to them. A captain jumped out. "Ahhh.... ODSTs, just what we needed."

John struggled to his feet and dusted the snow off of him. "Thank God."

"Don't thank God." Said the captain. "Thank me. Now get in the Warthogs."

[Belgarion98]

Spoiler:

OK, dude, I'm gonna have to turn in for the night. Great job taking down that phantom. was quite exhilarating.

Bobby collapsed in the warthog, tired as h*ll.

[POMC S117]

Spoiler:

Bye.

John jumped into the driver's seat of one of the Warthogs. "What's the plan?"
