I'm fairly sure Desmond had a fouler mouth than the good Mayor. Jerico might have as well, although I never really used him much.

I hated that rotten little ******. You'd think someone who was the hero of the wasteland, saved his friends, took out the Enclave, and purified all the water could get a little more respect.

Has anyone figured out a fix to the New Vegas white faces bug? It albinoized the face all of my companions, Doc Mitchell, and anyone I try to create with GECK. I disabled all of my mods and it still does this.

I'm thinking about picking Fallout 3 but I heard New Vegas is better. Should I pick the two and wreak havoc?

Also, New Vegas is a retail edition (physical copy) or DLC?

They are both very good. I'm not able to pick a winner. :P
And New Vegas is a retail edition.

Ah, good! I'm sick of DLC's...

I might pick both of them then. It's just that New Vegas feels more "alive".

New Vegas is better but both are great. I'd wait a bit because a version of New Vegas with the base game and all add ons comes out in a week. So make sure you buy Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition.

Or if you're strapped for cash, just buy New Vegas. I don't care what anyone says, it's the better game by miles.

I get nostalgic over Fallout 3 because that was the first RPG I actually liked, and therefore I feel fond memories of it everytime I think of it. However, Fallout: New Vegas is the better product in terms of story, weapon variety, gameplay, and companion survivability. Fallout 3 has a fantastic, "authentic" post-apocalyptic atmosphere to it, and really, that's about it.

I think I'm among the few that actually preferred Fallout 3, don't get me wrong there were definitely a lot of things they did better in New Vegas but simply not that much of a huge improvement that it made NV the better game.

Did anyone think fallout 3 during the car commercial(forgot the brand) during the Super Bowl? The one after 2012? It had recon craft theta, the paradise falls burger boy, lone wanderer and dog meat, and it looked like downtown D.C!

Did anybody else kinda feel like a jerk at the end of Sierra Madre? I tricked Christine into getting into the elevator and shut her down.

O my god it does. It is the Chevy Silverado commercial in case anybody wants to watch it. It looked kinda creepy.
Sorry for double post.

Spoiler:
I got all the companions to survive and merged God and Dog. The way you can't bring all the gold bars with you (except by exploits) really cements the theme of letting go. Also not killing Elijah is a much more sadistic choice.

Dean Domino was a jerk. Dog/God glitched when i first got the game preventing me from being able to complete the dlc. Christine was the best by far. I was to lazy to kill the ghost people so i sent her in the elevator by tricking her. At the end i killed her. Thats why i feel bad.

Guys sorry to double post but I have some grave news. Less then 30 minutes ago I made a new character, Cato. Yeah I am referencing Hunger Games with my names. I decided to walk to New Vegas going through the road near Sloan, bad mistake. I immediately was chased by a deathclaw and ran straight to sload. The deathclaw killed Snuffles and an unidentified quarry worker. I ran into the mess hall and Im under siege. I havent even made it to level 1 and im already screwed. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to do this? Im doing dead is dead.

On a side note, the woman in the mess hall just asked me for a deathclaw egg. Face Palm

Turn down the difficulty, take as many damage-reducing and health buffing chems as you can, and run like your pants are on fire, all the way to Mojave Outpost if it follows you that far, so the NCR can take care of it.

My challenge is to not turn the difficulty down. I dont have any chems. Im on hardcore mode and my left legs crippled. It may seem hopeless but his health is down to 2/3 the original. I am also out of bleak venim. I managed to snag a laser rcw from jean skydiving. I only have 18 ammo left however. Im screwed.
