1) The only one on Dive Rock that is actually original and new. Tell him to follow you and jump off the end of the rock. Quickly turn around and you'll see that he's following you. Because you've jumped farther, you can see him falling on the rocks and dying.
Press Tab just before you reach the ground and fast-travel to Dive Rock. Now walk down the hill and search for the Adoring Fan's body.
Oh, and you won't even get a bounty!
2) Use a mod (or create your own one) to take the Adoring Fan to the top of the Imperial City Tower and beat him off.
3) Use one of the 100+ traps in Oblivion (in dungeons/ayleid ruins etc.) to kill him. For example, tell him to wait just in front of you, go stand on a pressure plate and watch a huge mace swinging and killing him.
4) Try to let a guard kill him, by using some kind of spell.
5) In one of the Daedric Quests, you'll get a staff that creates a clone of his target. That clone will automatically attack him/her. Use that staff on the Adoring Fan!
Killing the Adoring Fan is soooo not original in itself. Personally I am content with having him as a house cleaner. Of course, if he knocks something over, then he's dead.
wow vesna
you seem like a fair and forgiving employer
who cares if it isnt original i find it funny
my grandma saw me playing and after he did his little by azura by azura speach
she said oh just kill the little b*****d
so i did
Hey! It takes a long time to set up those things! I spent a good 15 minutes trying to get the Sanguine Rose onto a fireplace shelf. Don't even get me started about the food and cutlery on the table!
Rule about the Sanguine Rose: the daedra that is spawned attacks your enemy, unless your enemy happens to be a Daedra or Conujurer. Because the Xivilai are part of the Daedric Faction, they won't attack others of their ilk. But the chance is about 50-50 either way, so I suggest cast the Sanguine Rose spell, and book it out of there. Invisibility helps too.
The Mace of Molag Bal is pretty useless, even if you like maces. You can give that up to Martin. Or, better still, beat the Adoring Fan with it.
Or you can tag the Fan with a Master-level Damage Fatigue poison, beat him down with the Truncheon of Submission and leave him unconscious for whatever baddie is bearing down your way. Like mudcrabs, for instance...
Baurus: Our job is to get the Emperor out of situations like this. Though I'll admit, things aren't going exactly to plan.
Casandra: At the moment, the deadliest weapon at my disposal is a goblin's head on a stick. I'd be worried if this was the plan.
I use him for archery practice. Moving..yeah.. I use the console to give him a few healing potions, and up his stats so one hit won't cause him to die.. tell him to wait.. then get as far away as I feel like practicing and doing my best. Once he starts running (If...) he becomes the moving target, harder, better practice!
I only use the console for making me rich or giving people stuff (Or removing..)
I give all begars the imperial legion armour, and remove the soldiers' armour completely...
Wabbajack may not be much practical use, but it’s a lot of fun to play with (bit like the Staff of Worms).
As for the Adoring Fan, I like to take him on quests with me, because he makes great cannon fodder – enemies always go for him first. I don’t normally like fighting with NPC allies – they get in the way and it’s a hassle to keep them alive, but I’m not bothered if the AF gets killed.
"The Nine Divines are boring. Daedra? They're never boring!"
I like to keep the adoring fan around the house for company and thats about all cause if he follows me around usually he gets takin out by some creature/bandits, or ill have him standing outside my door for light at night hes like my personal porch light. hah but has anyone told him to beat it an then do you ever bump into him again? Like where do you go to look for him?
Are you kidding me!?!?!? I have proof that it is not worthless.
If you are grand master of the arena, whenever you do a battle bring wabajack. Use it on the enemies. I swear, once I used it on a minataur and it turned into a deer.
Also, on the last thieves guild mission it is extremely useful. If you are having trouble against all the enemies simply use it. Instead of battling ghosts and zombies, I was fighting scamps and dogs. I rest my case.
It would be hilarious if you got a house and filled a small room with them. So if you have a friend over you could make them open the door and adoring fans fall out. "Ummmm. Oooops you weren't supposed to see that,I said bathroom was SECOND door on the left not FIRST. Okay this is awkward but I'm going to have to kill you and stash your body with the adoring fans "
