Newb question [Search didn't help]

Iv'e checked every place I can think for this answer before deciding on here to register and ask.

I don't know if I'm missing something obvious or what. I'd like to know what the heck you do with welkynd stones. I've heard they are for mana regen or some such. I've yet to find a use for them. I can't click them and make them do anything.

Is it becuase my skill is too low? I just dont' get it lol. Any help here is mucho appreciated.

They are used to replenish your magika points. They act just like Potions of Sorcery. Clicking on them when your magika points are maxed results in nothing.

they also are essential for the 'finger of the mountain' quest. it protects you from the bolt of lightning that skikes you

Lol I guess i was clicking em when my mana was full. I think I finished the finger of the mountain quest. Didn't realize I was being protected. Thanks again.
