"Their prey?" Llarays asked, not knowing what he meant.

Qa'Mhirr had finally caught his breath, "The Dunmer, or are we calling his injuries and bondage as the lizards' way of pleasant conversation and let your kinsman take a good dirt nap?" he said in good spirits

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Ah, the Dunmer." Llarays realized, while taking a good look at the Dunmer. "He's bleeding some on the head, which is the most damaged spot on his body." Llarays rummaged through his pack, and then pulling out some old resin. "I heard these substances can restore health. I'm going to put that to the test." Llarays said confidently, putting it in the Dunmer's mouth. He then took some Kresh Fiber he picked up during the journey, and wrapped it around the Dunmer's head.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr laughed, "Oh good, but when he wakes up with grass tied to his head and glue in his mouth, you can be the one to tell him why, if he does at all."
He spotted the unconscious Dunmer's pack opened, ebony sword and gold spilling out, "On second thought, tell him it was the lizards, maybe he'll share some of his shinies with us," Qa'Mhirr walked over and picked up a few of the coins.

Llarays gasped at the "shinies". Gold entered his mind, and he pulled out the icky and saliva-covered resin out of the Dunmer's mouth, using some grass to cover his hand. "I'll just keep the grass on the cover his wounds. Maybe the 'shinies' can be shared." Llarays said, good-spiritedly, but also mockingly.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
He hit the Argonian, trying his best to hold him down. He was strong, but his rage was blind, and his flailing only tired him out. His punch landed with a sickening crud - he could almost swear something was broken.. "Listen to me." He said, shaking him. "I will run you through without a second thought unless you co-operate, you hear me?" He looked up at Llarays. "How's the Dunmer? If he doesn't make it, this one doesn't either." He looked down menacingly at the Argonian, and meant every word.

"He might make it, I'm not sure. He's unconscious, but he's not dead yet. We need only to treat his head. Every other part of his body is doing fine." Llarays relayed, while observing the wounds. "Does anyone know how to make a potion?"

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr pocketed some of the gold coins and walked over to the dead argonian, pushing him on his back; Qa'Mhirr cringed a little at the smell of slightly burnt scales.
Checking pockets, he looted the corpse of some knives and turned it back over, face down.

Llarays smacked his forehead and then began to start a healing spell. "I forgot about my healing spell!" Llarays cursed. His hands moved over the Dunmer's forehead, causing the wounds to lessen.

"Looks like you might live after all Lizard." He snarled at his prisoner.

Qa'Mhirr snickered as he returned to the argonians' belongings and pulled out some salted fish, making up for the raw fish he had left behind in the dirt.

"Mfffphmhufhrm hrmfmmn hnngmf," Qa'Mhirr swallowed, noticing some confused glances, "This one doesn't think we need another mouth to feed and babysitting him will get in the way on our little trip."
Qa'Mhirr ate the rest of the piece of salted fish he was holding and pulled out the spider queen's fang, its partner floating somewhere out to sea by now; he looked it over, trying to think of what to do with it.

Llarays found his sack of scrib gatherings, behind a now overturned rock. He pulled out a piece of scrib jerky and began to chew, jaw clashing against hard texture violently.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Thoryn groaned, as he strained to open his eyes, blinking rapidly, his vision blurry and distorted. He was dazed, but thankfully he had not been concussed or badly injured by the attack. He struggled to rise, but made it no further than to an upright seated position, before slumping back towards the ground. He groped around for his sword and his pack, but could not reach them, then he saw the blurred outline of a figure standing over him. He swung out wildly, but his punch fell short and he did not do more than disrupt the air beside his captor. Still dazed and disorientated, he groaned again, before collapsing onto his side at the figure's feet.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr approached the prone Dunmer, "Oy oy oy, friend who comes from a dirt nap, take a moment, the lizards won't hurt you."
Noticing his eyes glazed over, Qa'Mhirr pulled out a leather flask with a little jagga still in it, "This'll either wake you up or make you puke, it's gotta be a week old, warm," he said as he brought the opened flask under the Dunmer's nose.
Even Qa'Mhirr couldn't stand the smell of the overfermented milk at this point

"You'll burn the insides of his nose, Qa'Mhirr," Llarays said jokingly. "Don't waste all of your energy swinging at thin air, Dunmer."

"Do these guys have any bread? I didn't bring much, but I've got an addiction to fresh bread." He held the Argonian down, and tied his legs together, before getting up off him. "We'll let the Dunmer decide what to do with him. For now, let's have breakfast and make sure he's okay."

"Qa'Mhirr didn't see any, check the big one's pack that Ver brought back, haven't looked in that one yet," he said while still wafting the jagga under the Dunmer's nose.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Thoryn spluttered, but he was thankful that the group surrounding him appeared not to be hostile. As his vision returned he could make out the outlines of a Khajiit, three Dunmer and an Argonian, who had been bound.
"Who are you?" was his first question, then, as his eyes reached around for his belongings, his vision improving, he remembered, "I've seen you before."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Which one?" He laughed. If he knew the Dunmer, he certainly didn't remember him. He joined Ver in looting the big pack, and found a loaf of bread. He split it in half, and bit into it. It wasn't fresh, but it wasn't stale either, and it tasted good. "Anybody want some?" He held it out to the group.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Nah, give it to someone else." Llarays said, declining the offer. He looked at the just conscious Dunmer. "You mean you've seen the Argonian before, right? Or have you met one of us?" Llarays questioned, curiously. He handed a piece of scrib jelly to the Dunmer. "Hungry? And what is your name, so it won't be awkward when we have to talk to you?"

Thoryn continued to grope around with his returning sight for his belongings, "no, I've never seen that Argonian before in my life, but the dead one attacked me," he said, pointing vaguely in the direction of Kesh, "where is my sword?" he asked.

He handed some of the bread to Veriax. "Where were you headed stranger? Certainly not common place to catch a Dunmer around these parts."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Night-Runner awkwardly dragged and kicked his way into an upright sitting position and leaned his back against a tree, his hands and feet still bound. He sat glaring at his captors without speaking.
