Yeah, maybe have in the legion, leading a campaign against the remaining storm cloak camps?

That's true. My apologies. Personally, though, I think Orsinium might be the most promising of all the ideas here.

i'm kind of hoping the Thalmor will take centre stage in the dlc and bring all their lovely summon daedroth/clannfear/spider daedra/winged twilights etc type spells with them so i can compare my favourite monsters with those in Oblivion and Morrowind

That too . It would be nice if they actually gave the Legion/Stormcloaks additional, non-War related, quests post-War, sort of a la Legion in Morrowind, just to give it a little more depth and to really show that the War is over. More follow through from games would be nice because it's hard to believe that rebuilding never happens or that the affects of War never dissipate.

The DLC/Expansion for Oblivion was pretty big, and I'd imagine it'll be the same for Skyrim. Give it some time, it's probably in the works as we speak.

I want a DLC that will have properties like the factions. NO, not as in a faction (Would be nice to have more factions, whatever) But as the never-ending quests that have flare. Say, we go to SI again(Just for the sake of it) And you became Madgod (Again, for the sake of it) You could go to Haskill and say, "What troubles my realm today?" And then Haskill would be like, "There has been some trouble in ________ and the problem is ______ can you go make everyone a bit more settled?" Then you go do it. But there can be many activities, like, you could have to kill someone, Brawl, Fetch, Persuade, protect, steal, clear out, ect. But you could ask for something more evil/good when you are going to get the job, and rewards aren't just gold, it could be associated to the job, Weapons for clearing caves, Armour for protecting, gold for assassinations, stuff like that. But they could also have what made SI fetch quests so good, Unique things, unique weapons, unique location, unique people and enemies, unique everything!

OblivionDuruza wrote:Pilaf, Tribunal is also a notable exception, as it makes little sense unless the character has completed the Main Quest of Morrowind and been named Nerevarine. For this reason a post-Civil War DLC is conceivable, particularly if Bethesda adopts similar level restrictions as they did with Tribunal by making the foes in the new DLC incredibly tough a la Tribunal.

Even so, I agree with you that the majority of Bethesda DLC are standalone so I'd say they certainly wouldn't do more than one DLC that was not its own story.

Yeah. I forgot about that for some reason. Good point. I must have been tired when I made that post. Hell, I did Tribunal like five times. Excellent point. I wouldn't mind seeing a Tribunal or Broken Steel style continuation of the MQ. I'd also like if it changed slightly depending on how certain things went such as
Spoiler:
killing Paarthurnax or not, choosing a side in the civil war, or assassinating Titus Mede II

Hey, we're all human . I think a formula of one follow-up DLC and two standalone ones would be a good basis. One that extends the Nordic theme of the game, at least one that is totally exotic. I'm predicting a lot of variety from Bethesda in terms of DLC, considering their history.

Also, guys, Shivering Isles came out almost a year after Oblivion, iirc, it's been only three months (gosh time flies) since Skyrim came out :P.

Apparently there are rumor abound that the next DLC will be annuonced along with the release of the Creation Kit on Tuesday, Febuary 7.

But like I said, it's just a rumor. :|

Ok so I don't know if anyones thought of this but Skyrim is all about Dragons coming back after having disappeared long ago well all throughout the game you learn about dwermer or dwarves and how they mysteriously disappeared long ago does anyone think one of the 2 big DLCs they have planned could be about the dwarves coming back from whereever they disappeared from? because for me that sounds like a pretty awesome DLC

That is possible but i think Bethesda wont do that.
because(i think) you wont be able to explore the dwemer dungeons anymore.

I hope they don't. The Dwemer question is the greatest mystery of Tamriel, now that the Falmer have showed up again.

I'd like to see something fleshing out the Reach.

An expansion that takes place deeper in the Reach, like the Middle Reach and Western Reach would be good. Or maybe an expansion focused on rebuilding Orsinium, or destroying it once and for all.

Absolutely. That's another civil war that needs resolving. And if the Reachmen can take part of Hihg Rock with them, then that's jus nice.

Oblivion's main theme was the realm of Oblivion, which was central in the expansion. Skyrim's main theme is dragons, so dragons will obviously play a major role in the upcoming expansion. Maybe some dragon taming cult set on conquering Skyrim?

Minor desires here, but I would like to be able to make or buy unenchanted versions of all the armor and clothes in the game!

The thieves' guild and guild master armor looks nice, but I can't bear to wear them because of the crappy enchants!

Also, ability to change the color or tint of the armor/clothes would be $$$.
