Right. Ancient Steel, and an enchanted spear, both of the proportion to fit the skeletal structure of a normal Elf or Human. Not goblin-like, as the Falmer in Skyrim.legoless wrote: There was no skeleton. Only his armour.

Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

By that logic, how does Falmer armour fit humans/elves in Skyrim?Pilaf The Defiler wrote:Right. By that logic, how does the Dunmer Netch helmet from Morrowind fit the Goblins in Oblivion?
We can play this game all day. You can interpret the evidence as you wish, but the Snow Prince book suggests a race of above ground, sighted, normally proportioned Elves. There's a statue of the ancient Falmer in Skyrim that supports this, as well as the books about Dwemer than mention Falmer refugees. Them having degraded is pretty much a fact.

Re: DLC Speculation
You know what I wonder and this would never happen as a dlc since the limits would be endless but, what if we can get a hold of that mushroom the dwarves used to evolve(devolve) the falmer to make different breeds of npc's creatures and etc. Not as a full on expansion but a little thing to mess around with and use, you know just more customization.

Re: DLC Speculation
I want DLC's that you can take-out factions. Like, literally destroy them so they are no more. Because I find it weird that you can murder 6,000,000 forsworn, Thalmor, ect. , kill there leader, and still have them running about. Now, this could be like a set of quests take place that make you either destroy some factions or help them. And if you destroy them, you get super powerful loot that posses epic powers, or if you help them, they always fight battles in the area, collect loot for you and give you it, follow you, a blessing, ect. And you have to choose one side over the other, but some quests will only appear after parts in a certain main/side quest to avoid glitches and [&@%!]. (Maybe they could active the quest like the thane thing, you must do 3 ____ related quests, blah blah blah)

Re: DLC Speculation
Maybe you go around either getting factions to join you or destroy them for some purpose, like in Fallout:New Vegas. Each faction will either have a base you need to destroy to destroy that faction or some quests you do to earn their trust. This could be something you do to fight the Thalmor in a DLC maybe-whichever side you go with in the Civil War will support your cause, and you go around to different factions like the Forsworn, Nordic clans, Orc strongholds, even giants and small towns.

You just re-worded everything I said.
But, yes, like in FO:NV just with rewards. Because in FO all you get is a, "Good job, [&@%!]! Now deal with this guy!"

You didn't say anything about it relating to fighting the Thalmor out of Skyrim or having factions on your side fight the other ones so I didn't reword everything you said.

Re: DLC Speculation
Thalmor is a faction, no? I said to take out factions or side with them. And Thalmor is a faction.

Re: DLC Speculation
I mean if Bethesda made a defeat-the-Thalmor themed DLC that should happen, uniting factions against the Thalmor or wiping out Thalmor supporting factions (or turning them to your side).

If there was a side-taking DLC or something like that what do you think the factions should be?

All the ones that have (Semi)civil manners. Y'know, Orc strongholds, Thalmors, Forsworn, all that type.

About the Snow Prince: What I meant was why did whoever the chieftains were allow the Snow Prince to be buried in a barrow? It is implied but not stated that they themselves were not mer.

The chieftains were Nords, and they did it because they were awed by him in battle.Gideon Dragontongue wrote:About the Snow Prince: What I meant was why did whoever the chieftains were allow the Snow Prince to be buried in a barrow? It is implied but not stated that they themselves were not mer.
"It is common practice to burn the corpses of our fallen foes. This is as much a necessity as it is custom, for death brings with it disease and dread. Our chieftains wished to cleanse Solstheim of the Elven horde, in death as well as life. It was decided, however, that such was not to be the fate of the Snow Prince. One so mighty in war yet so loved by his kin deserved better. Even in death, even if an enemy of our people."

You know what? I would like another wild hunt. Imagine hircines hunting call being sounded in whiterun and suddenly hearing howling from.....you know where. I'd also like to see werebears and SPEARS. I want the spear of bitter mercy. And lyanthropy as a disease. But honestly I'd be happy with the chance to go werewolf hunting.

Definitely! I have a few characters in mind who would make good werewolves, but I don't want them to join the Companions.Hissien wrote:I'd also like to see werebears... And lyanthropy as a disease.

I read in lore somewhere that werebears are the most common form of lycanthropy in Skyrim.. so I don't know why they wouldn't be. And what if the Volkihar vampires were expanded on? They sounded pretty interesting.

Has anyone made a horse armour joke yet? Anyway I still want to go to Orsinium and maybe Quagmire.
So we have come to solve every squabble in the village personally?

I want DLC that gives you as much, or even more cool [&@%!] and perks that Shivering, KoTN, and That dungeon that was big, put together.
I love when DLC'S give us cool toys to play with.

Quagmire would be really tough to do and make good. But if it was done good, that would be the coolest Daedra realm I've seen yet.Knight Captain Kerr wrote:Has anyone made a horse armour joke yet? Anyway I still want to go to Orsinium and maybe Quagmire.
The cool stuff we'll get from the DLC should be unique like wabbajack, and not just a sword that will drain your enemy's health. What if you got a living suit of armor that talked to you?I EAT pain wrote:I love when DLC'S give us cool toys to play with.
