Jalil was suddenly sent a request to report to the Harlem Building of Parliamentary Council immediately. A black limousine, escorted by two secret service agents, awaited him in front of his luxurious apartment building. It was about 6 PM.
"Uhh...Shut up, Beavis!"

He immediately entered the limousine, looking rather shabby in a black blazer. Even the driver was wearing a more expensive suit.
"Might I ask what the reason I am being summoned is?" He asked calmly.

Re: Art of Warfare (AOW): 2
"Her Majesty requested your presence." one of the secret service agents sternly replied, the emotion in his eyes completely masked by the dark shades that all agents wore. "That is all we know."
The city was already beginning to light up. Young men and women were driving past the government vehicles with surfboards mounted on their cars and jeeps. The annual Starlight Surfing Competition was approaching. One week was chosen each year when the evening tides were at their strongest. Hundreds would gather at the beaches at midnight to watch the Kingdom's best surfers compete. The beaches and surfboards would be lit. Small, glowing fish would be released into the sea, causing the waters to glow. It was one of the most famous annual events in Hessia, and was considered to be a holiday. The Starlight Surfing Competition had been held every year since 1979.

"I watched the competition back in '91." Jalil said, looking out the window.

"That was back during the Socialist Movement." a second agent replied. "The government didn't have much money to invest into the Starlight Surfing Competition back then. Now...it's absolutely mindblowing. Her Majesty has fireworks situated on the beach, performers on the boats, special events...it's incredible."
The limousine and its escort glided through the massive city until it reached the Harlem Building of Parliamentary Council in Swithelm Square.

Re: Art of Warfare (AOW): 2
Around five o'clock Akelin finally finished the reports on foreign activity. "Call all my advisers to my office." Akelin said softly. An hour passed before everyone arrived, a bit annoyed by being called so early in the morning. "It has come to my desk, that many nations have started to go to war and starting to make allies." Akelin paused waiting for the question he knew was to come. "And what does this have to do with us?" His genaral adviser Eric spoke up. "Well, the thing is, the other nations are likely to attack us soon enough for supplies for there troops, we make a easy target, plus they'd get even more money then they would for a normal county." Akelin said unhappily. "So are you suggesting we increase our military strength my king?" His military adviser Matthew asked. "No, I am not! Our coutry is fine as it is!" Akelin exclaimed. "I'm suggesting we make allies." Akelin said. "But sir! We haven't even made contact with the outside world for three hundred years!" Finn said. "We have made slight convoys and sluppy runs." Eric pointed out. "But-" Akelin cut him off. "I have made up my mind up on the matter Finn." "Very well sir, but who do you suggest we make allies with?" Finn said, giving in to Akelin's idea. "This is why I called you guys here, I'm not sure." Akelin said giving them a faint smile. "I'll start out by saying we shouldn't meet anybody who is currently on war." His foreign adviser Finn suggested. Everyone nodded in agreement. "

"Mister Ambassador." an agent respectfully greeted Jalil as he opened the door. "We will escort you to her Majesty in her office."

Spoiler:
Jalil was taken into Queen Aurore's gorgeous office at the top floor. Inside, Aurore and six well-dressed advisors were watching Emperor Eliwer's interview on a massive holographic screen that spread out across the entire righthand wall.

"A brownnose is the last type of person I would expect an emperor to be." Jalil noted, smiling wryly.

Re: Art of Warfare (AOW): 2
"That leaves Hessia and Tavik, we should choose the one with the best military." Mathew said. "A good leader is good to." Eric pointed out. "Finn, if you will..." Akelin sighed. "Very well my king." Finn said, walking out of the room. Only moments later he returned with documents on the two nations, passing them out to everyone Finn said. "paper work, our favorite pass time."
Two hours later everyone finished reading. "Hessia, defiantly Hessia. They have a popular leader, and have great military strength." Finn said. "Agreed." The other advisers agreed. "Very well, tell the queen of Hessia that I wish for a video conference later today." Akelin said.

"She's putting him under pressure." Aurore mumbled.
"Well, he can't even keep his story or beliefs straight." one of the advisors chuckled.
Aurore slowly nodded. "Aye. Have the rest of this interview recorded. I shall view it later tonight. For now, leave me to speak with the ambassador or Tavik."
The advisors obeyed and quickly disappeared from the office after respectfully bowing to their queen. Aurore switched the holographic screen off and turned to Jalil. "Hello, Mister Ambassador." she said formally.

Re: Art of Warfare (AOW): 2
Aurore snapped her fingers. A secret service agent immediately appeared with a small cup of tea, respectfully handing it to Jalil.
"I have two matters to discuss with you." the Queen said, standing from her desk and gazing out at the massive capital city through the wall of shining windows. "Firstly, the Drascian-Zoryan War. I wish to bring peace between the two nations. Relf is targeting Zorya, and this war is only weakening the Zoryan military. If Relf were to conquer another nation, their influence would spread. And I cannot have that." She turned back to Jalil. "But I do not wish to deploy any troops into the regions. I need Tavik's aid in hosting a political meeting between Zorya, Drascia, and Enaline."

"Tavik's official position is in support of Zorya." Jalil noted. "Ahh. Truly, Zorya's capability in defending itself insofar has been admirable. I am unconvinced a peace is required while it is Relf and Enaline who face the brunt of casualties."

"Your Majesty," came a voice through the speakers stationed in the ceilings of the office.
Aurore pressed a small button on her desk. "Yes?"
"You have received a request for a video conference with-"
"Wait a moment." Aurore interrupted.
"Yes, Majesty."
Aurore turned bak to Jalil. "We will discuss the situation with Zorya later on. Now, the second matter I had intended to speak with you about," She tossed a large zipped folder towards Jalil. It flopped onto the desk in front of the ambassador.
