Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Llarays quietly said: "Good job." to Qa'Mhirr. He sat down and let out a relieved sigh. "That was surprising, the spider. Almost killed me. I guess if it wasn't for the Qa'Mhirr, we would've had a harder chance of killing that queen spider. "There's only four of us left, correct? This'll be a harder trip. Rest in peace, Stros." Llarays said.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr tugged on the sword, grunting in effort to pry the sword out of the ground. Failing, he left it and stood next to Llarays, looking down at the prone Redguard. "We all knew the risks, this island isn't going to give us riches on intentions alone," he said darkly, something out of character for the little dagi-raht. His mood quickly changed, "Alright, we need to get these corpses out of here before they attract more beasties," he said brightly, "And we need to find some soft ground to bury our late friend here."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"The cat knows his way around explosives it seems anyway," He chuckled, picking up his sword. His face grew grim as he remembered Stros. "It's a shame we didn't get to know him..." He sighed. "But at least he died in his sleep... though I doubt it was a peaceful one..." He closed his eyes, and sighed. "We cant bury the body... but we could burn it, if that's what he'd like. Does anyone know what they do to dead bodies in Hammerfell?" He stood up. "Shame we don't have a wood elf... he'd eat the thing." He chuckled grimly. "We need to dispose of the body in some way anyway."

"Even the dead demand respect." Leiden said. "I will not leave him simply to rot like the rest."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"The least we can do is send him out to sea, better than leaving him to be picked apart, besides, we'll need to pass by here again and this one isn't curious to see what a Redguard's corpse looks like after a few weeks or even a month," Qa'Mhirr shivered slightly, "A sailor's burial is preferable to being shalk dung." The khajiit started to head back towards the lower section of the temple, "There's probably a door or makeshift raft we can put him on, time is passing and the longer we sit here debating the more likely the smell of death is going to attract more trouble." He stopped short of the archway, "Either way, Veriax is right, we need to keep moving, let the ashmasque stay here in this tomb of a temple."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Yes, we need to give him at least a sailor's death, it would be below me to leave him to rot." Llarays said. He saw a moderately-large piece of wood, about 5 feet wide, and rushed to the place it leaned. "Think this might work?" Llarays questioned the others, while carefully moving it off of the wall. "Also, I think Leiden found the Ashmask. At least we got something. Although I don't know what it's powers are. If it even has powers."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"Who cares?" He said, holding it up, his dirty blood fingers in the eye slots. "It's worth money. I'm not a religious man - I care not for Daedra, Aedra or the Temple - just the coin." He sighed, looking down at the body. "C'mon. We'll float it out to sea, on the door on one of the huts."

Qa'Mhirr moved to help Llarays with the large piece of wood, he looked towards Leiden, "Qa'Mhirr doesn't believe the same as the Aylee~ids, but their magics still hurt, better we don't try to find out what it does...cursed things are a pain to get rid of."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"The curses are for the buyer - the gold is for us." He grinned. "Now, c'mon." He carefully slung the body over his shoulder. Blood and a horrific smelled covered him, but he carried out, grimacing all the while, until he reached a hut. The door had been blown off it's hinges. He lay the body down, and then called out to his fellows. "Help me with this, would you?"

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Llarays released the board he had been holding, letting it fall to the floor with a "Bam". "Seems like doors work better. Does the density Do you think it can float? Maybe we should test it, in case the material doesn't float in water." Llarays said, dumbly.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
Qa'Mhirr stayed behind for a second, a little peeved at Llarays' departure, eyeing the spider corpses. He took out a small hunting knife from his belt, using it to pry, cut, and gouge out the spider fangs. Wiping off the gore as best he could with an old piece of a Tribunal banner, he wrapped them up another, cleaner piece, save for one of the queen's large fangs; tying both to his belt. He came outside where the others were trying to move one of the hut doors, "Doesn't matter, as long as it makes it out to sea, better that it doesn't come back ashore."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"What our feline friend said. It doesn't matter, so long as he's not being left to rot or attract more spiders." He picked up one end of the door, and waited for someone to grab the other. "We don't have all day."

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
The diminutive dagi-raht approached the other end of the door, "Va Do," he said to himself, prepping himself, and a slight bluish light shimmered down his coat. He lifted the other end to neck height with some effort.

"Then you can carry his body if you're going to just stand there," he grunted under the effort of keeping the door up, "Qa'Mhirr would like to get moving before we join our dead friend here."

"Maybe I could get under the door and lift it up, although that would be awkward once we got to the shore." Llarays suggested, moving to crouch.

Re: Frontier: Vvardenfell
"C'mon now." He said, and started walking, his arms already aching "Move together, and this'll be a lot easier." They* slowly drudged down to the shore, before dropping it flat on the sand. Leiden's palms were red and splintered from the door, but they had bigger problems. "The sun is coming up. Blast it all..." He hadn't gotten any sleep, but they had to get moving. The day would be painful.
