Well... I guess the explanation for that is that you bounce off of the ground.

I LOL'ed the first time I watched a Giant do that to a bandit. Looked like he was shot out of a cannon. I for one, love that glitchSossTheBo$$ wrote:The fact that I get sent like 1000000 feet into the air when a giant swings DOWN at me...

Didn't lol that much when that happened to me on my very first play-through. Hadn't saved beforehand. But you do get a nice view.born2beagator wrote:I LOL'ed the first time I watched a Giant do that to a bandit. Looked like he was shot out of a cannon. Speaking of giants, yesterday I was hunting them and one was right near me but I had time for one more arrow, a butterfly flew in front of it and died. O:<

With the dog companions, I can't see why you can't send them back to your house to wait there instead of going back to where you first encounter them. It's hard trying to keep them alive where they can be safe in my house
A hero can be anyone, even a man doing some as simple and reassuring as putting a coat around a young boy's shoulders to let him know the world hadn't ended.

It does me that Mercer Frey and Ethnir have the same voice and are involved in in consecutive Theives' Guild main quests. Could they really not have given them different voices?

I think he respawns, given a few in-game weeks. This is assuming you can remember the location in which he died.kailay wrote:Shadowmere died

Re: The silly complaints thread.
From what I've read on the wiki, simply wait 10 days at a main hold, then return to the location at which he died.

Yeah, that was a letdown.Swampy wrote:That the Stormcloaks armor is blue gaurds armor.

The Blue Guard armour should be for the Winterhold guards and nothing else. The Stormcloaks should've had a different armour (I know about that bear-like armour but I'm talking about a regular outfit for the normal soldiers). The legion has 3 types for crying out loud!

Not wanting to be a Werewolf, and having the quest NPC glitch out on me continuously. Multiple save reloads, wasted hours, I gave up on him for a few days in frustration.

List Form
1. You can chop infinite wood
2. Giants make for great archery practice (Seriously they are cake for an archer who creates a super charged shot)
3. There are no Outhouses.
4. Arrows bounce too much off Dwemer constructs and Chaurus
5. Why as any of the Mer races you can't offer your own blood to the Transmudane
6. The only way to fish is to be a bear or shout at fish.
7. Not enough M'aiq
8. Cragslane Cavern Bug is frustrating.
9. You can't clean the Abandoned House in Markarth of its Spider webs and dust.
10. Not enough plaques in any 1 house display the entirety of the Daedric Artifacts.

That shadowmere wouldn't stop fighting the bandits when I wanted them to pound me to level up my armor. Had to run that fool in middle of nowhere then foot slog it in.

Re: The silly complaints thread.
I've had two attempts on my life by the dark brotherhood, because someone did the Dark Sacrament on me. The letter doesn't say WHO, or WHY. GRR! I want to figure out WHY..all this makes me feel like is destroying the stupid brotherhood.
This is on my wood elf character, on my nord, there weren't any attempts. hm.
EDIT I realize I already complained about that on page 5 and I apologize. But the fact it happened AGAIN...rawr.

The first one can be solved with some roleplaying: Pretend there is a limit and cease chopping when you reach that limit.markusgrey wrote:List Form

That when I come upon a chicken, I have the childish urge to KICK it sky high as in Fable.
Stupid chickens.
