I agree, the Bee and Barb is my favorite. The specialty drinks are kind of cool

I like Nightgate. It's kinda in the middle of no where, not associated with any town. Just me.

Used to be the Bee and the Barb, until I beat up that poor Argonian lady (don't ask). I like the Silver-Blood Inn in Markarth, the Dwemer architecture gives it an ominous and cavernous feel.

Re: Your favourite Inn?
I like the feel of Bannered Mare (Whiterun) best, but I can't help feeling pretty cozy up in the Frozen Hearth (Winterhold)--contrasting that inn with the constant blizzard outside makes me sleepy in real life.

Re: Your favourite Inn?
I like the Bee and Barb a lot just because of the huge amount of visitors. It makes it feel much more lively.

Re: Your favourite Inn?
Does the Drunken Huntsman count? If not, then the Bee and the Barb. Great proprietors, nice customers, awesome beverages, and lovely atmosphere The only thing it's missing is Argonian Bar-wenches.

The Drunken Huntsman can we count as an Inn or tavern but it doesn't have lodging :/Mekorosi wrote:Does the Drunken Huntsman count?

Re: Your favourite Inn?
I like the one where you sleep and the ghost thinks you're Talos. I don't think it's listed.
Monsters are bred in labyrinths, labyrinths are bred from walls. There is a reason the Giants choose to remain nomadic rather than follow their shield kin the Nords in building permanent settlements. The Tower is the beginning of all walls.

Winky Skeeve. Mostly for Lisette, but also for the "soft sheets and hard liquor," in the words of a patron. I usually get the corner table with the giant stuffed bear head looming over it.

This. The Bee and Barb has a great atmosphere, and the cool specialty drinks, and the Bannered Mare and the Winking Skeever are both nice and cozy; the Skeever has Lisette as well, so that's a draw.Red Guardian wrote:The Bee and the Barb.

The two standing alone inns (the one in the reach and the one in the pale).
The kid in the reach inn is funny, the ghost too. And the one in the pale has the orc cook

I haven't been to any of the out-of-city inns yet. I need to make a point of visiting them sometime soon.

Re: Your favourite Inn?
The Frozen Hearth, because of the cosy contrast between the fire burning in the inn and the roaring inn outside; besides, this always seems to be the place where I meet Sam Guevenne.
The Bannered Mare, because that was the first inn I ever visited in game and the first inn where I discovered that you could make requests for songs. Besides, I like the antics of the Nord woman who hangs out there and challenges you to a brawl.
And the Silverblood Inn, because I have a thing for renting rooms in the places that used to be something old and cool (when I stayed at a hotel in the Netherlands that had actually been a medieval castle I was in a state of a continuous squee). You can't beat sleeping in a former Dwemer ruin. And the innkeeper and his wife crack me up all the time.

In between the lines there's a lot of obscurity.
I'm not inclined to resign to maturity.

But why bounce around to the same damn song?
