I can't really decide, but since I'm a native of the north I would probably settle for Skyrim.
Although I like Cyrodiil's variety of landscapes, both mountains, rainforest, forests and highland :bliss:
Also Valenwood sounds like a peaceful place, where I would be quite satisfied.

Morrowind (pre-collapse)
All around though I'd probably enjoy Hammerfell or High Rock

'Prolly Bruma. Most resembles what I get here, climatewise. Not in architecture, mind you.

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
I picked Morrowind Because It's Awesome! Plus its the Dunmers Home land <3! I would Have picked Summerset isle because it sounds beautiful and something new but Dunmers were banished from Summerset isle for Daedra worship! SHIVERING ISLES FTW! but I don't think that's in Tamriel... its a totally different realm...

Valenwood forest are awesome and dont they have the moving tree cities? I love argonians so black marsh was in mind, but where i would WANT to live is not in a swampy marsh with were-crocs.

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
Most likely Cyrodiil with its nice climate. Somewhere in the heartlands or in the Imperial city. Another good place would be Skyrim because I'm from Finland, it would be pretty much the same as here. But if I was really powerful, I would spend a great deal of time in Morrowind, where my TES heart really lies.

Elsewyr because of the 3 S's. Sand, Skooma, and Safety. (safety doesn't really make sense but it started with S and I felt that 2 was too little)

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
I can proudly say I'd love to live in Black Marsh.
Sure, you've got deadly fauna; Hackwings, Fleshflies, and no doubt various species of toxin-secreting Flora. Yeah, transport is rough, the roads are constantly decaying, and the wildlife is free to tear you to peices due to a high probabilty of ineffective or lacking Guard patrols, and maybe you have to jump into the mouth of a Rootworm once in a while. Maybe you'll get caught in the middle of a Telvanni slave raid, or killed by Pirates whilst taking a stroll along the banks of Topal Bay... and, yes, maybe most of the inner province hasn't even been explored, but what does that matter? Maybe you'll even catch the ol' Knahaten Flu when it comes back, and that's always a good sign that you're integrating with the area! The geography is alien and terrifying, but at the same time abstract and beautiful. The beasts and plants are the stuff of nightmares, yet their incredible physiology and appearance is perplexing and peculiar.
Living in Black Marsh is, ultimately, a very dangerous, perhaps stupid, thing to do for those not suited to its environment, but that doesn't put me off. After all, who'd want to live in the lands of the Altmer? I hear there's been a boycott of Imperial goods.

Have you read the lore article about Valenwood? http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Valenwood
Read under the Geography section... Sounds beautiful. I bet bethesda could make those forested cities and trees look FABULOUS!!!

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
If I had to retire, I would choose Cyrodiil due to it being the most hospitable area and so on, but if I just had to live my life, I would choose either Skyrim or Summerset Isle. Love snow and mages, can't have both most of the time though.

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
If I was reincarnated as an Altmer, the Summerset Isles.
if I was a human, either Cyrodiil's Anvil, or somewhere in Elsweyr. Preferably in the more green parts.
Valenwood sounds nice too. Perhaps I might live there over Elsweyr considering that I do have a fondness of meat.

Elsweyr because it sounds easygoing and interesting to me, there is a ton of lore for it but we've never actually seen it except for Arena or so I've heard and that was just minimal. I think Elsweyr/Valenwood would make for a great game if they combined them.

Re: If you had to live in Tamriel, where would you choose?
I chose Cyrodiil because of the diversity in climate and the melting pot of races. The creatures there also don't seem to challenging to kill and hunt, either. There's a little bit of everything...
