Re: Who's your least favorite NPC?
Oh thank you for having the same opinion as me! As soon as I heard it I started thinking about how many people would do it thinking it was required or just because they are cruel.
But a bit more on the topic, I despise Nazeem and that's all. His humiliating voice... Just because he goes to the Cloud District doesn't make him any cooler than me or anyone really. Sliced his head off with a guard watching. Reminded him of who's the Thane and he just ignored the whole thing. First and last time I killed someone. Felt so good.[/quote]
My main problem is that they act like they never have done anything wrong (if you inquire about it) how many altmer did they kill during the great war? How many rogue blades has delphine sacrificed to keep her cover?

Ondolemar. Although my character usually expects to get payed for murder, he killed Ondolemar for free as a kind of public service.

I like the Dunmer more. They are awesomely voiced in my opinion. But I only play as the human races.Hissien wrote:So true isn't it? Eh I really only play mer and beast races but that is because I like being the minority in a game. Plus the mer are more specialized this time around and humans are a jack of all trades.

I used my get-out-of-jail-free Thane token to off Nazeem. It was totally worth it...

^That reminds me of something kinda funny.
One day I massacrated the entire city of Whiterun with a dragon priest mask and my master destruction spells + a dragon priest staff and well... Nazeem was around at the time with his "Cloud District" line and when I killed him with a well set fireball his corpse went through those cabbage boxes in the market in a Godspeed fashion. After that I dumped his body near the water canal. It was... Magical.

A hearty YES to Maven Black-Briar, the arrogant fetcher who threatened me with the Dark Brotherhood if I 'made her angry' - despite the fact I'm Listener *growl*
Another YES to Delphine - I cannot bear her self-righteous attitude, and I was predisposed to hate her since I made that epic, dangerous trek to retrieve Jurgen's horn only to find her "LOL too late sucker I got here first" note at the end of it. When she finally conceded "I owe you answers" I replied out loud with, "I owe you an arrow in the face," and promptly let her have one.
Arnbjorn. He's just downright rude, and looks like he badly needs a bar of soap into the bargain.

Hmm. I'm not going to say Nazeem, I just killed him eventually since he's useless anyways (funny because I casted fury on him while he slept, and he attacked his own wife, but then got destroyed by her). Delphine and Maven are both extremely annoying, and it's terrible because they're essential. Sapphire annoyed me for a while: "I don't have any business with you, so get out of my face." I'M NOT IN YOUR FACE DUMB [&@%!], I'M JUST WALKING THROUGH!
Ancano also [&@%!] me off for the longest time, but he's also not annoying because eventually you don't have to deal with him. I also hate that one dude who keeps ripping on the Dunmer in windhelm, and apparently you can't kill him either.

Jarl Siddgeir. He is the definition of lazy. And his voice is annoying. One of these days I'm going to turn him into a town guard.

Re: Who's your least favorite NPC?
Arnbjorn doesn't actually HATE you. He mentions as one of his passing by dialogues that the nicknames are just for fun and not to take offense. He comes off as just kind of gruff to me.
Who do I hate? Maven Black-briar. Oh so much. What's that? You're going to send a Dark Brotherhood assassin after me? I'm the LISTENER you [&@%!]!
You're an important person around Riften? Really? I'm the picklin' THANE. And the Archmage of the College of Winterhold. And Thane in Winterhold and Whiterun. I have more political and literal power than I know what to do with, and on top of that I'm the DRAGONBORN AND SAVIOR OF EVERYTHING.
One day she bad talked me for the last time and I just lost it. I set her on fire with Incinerate and then FUS RO DAHed her off the edge into the water below. And when the guard came I handwaved the assault, as I am the mighty Thane.
Sad for me she's essential and I can't kill her. But sad for her that I can torture the skiddles out of her and only muster up a 40 coin assault charge. The way I see it, this means I can destroy her 75 times without any legal ramifications.
I just hate the fact you can't do anything to stop her corruption really. There's no way at all to stop her or defeat the Thieve's Guild like there is with the Dark Brotherhood. Which is bothersome because the NPCs will never stop complaining about how terrible the town is despite my best efforts T.T
Also.

Olfrid, patron of the great clan Battle-Born.
Yes, I know who you are, you've told me at least 87 times *JUST TODAY*. Now STFU and let me get up to Dragonreach so i can use the Arcane Enchanter there. And no, you don't need to follow me into my house to tell me who you are yet again.

Tough decision Maven Black Briar, Nazeem or Belethor. Going to go with Maven as I play on 360 and she is unkillable, maybe us console players should petition Bethesda to make her and her ghastly spawn non-essential in next patch. Favourite NPC is Brynjolf, love the way he calls my female characters lass.

Re: Who's your least favorite NPC?
It's gotta be Aerin, all he does is follow Mjoll the Lioness around all day, he seriously needs to get a life. Harrald (Jarl Laila Law-Giver's son) is a close second though, due to the fact that he is too lazy to pick his sword from the blacksmith's that is only about a hundred meters away from where he lives.
So say we all.

Re: Who's your least favorite NPC?
I actually like them all. The girl in Whiterun (Braith), who says things like "Boys, girls, dogs, elders - there's nobody I won't fight!" and "What are you looking at? I'm not afraid of you you know, even if you are my elder", always makes me smile. I have played tag and hide-and-seek several times in towns, it is just so fun. Sadly, you can't tag adults, it would be nice to tag guards and other townpeopleLunatic wrote:The children. All of them.

Re: Who's your least favorite NPC?
Belethor or Delphine.
Belethor just because he sounds so slimy, I kind of regret playing a "good" character in my current playthrough...
Delphine because the VERY FIRST TIME you speak to her, she basically says "HAH! Dragonborn? What a sissy, I'm a frickin blade [&@%!]!"
I really really REALLY want Alduin to burn her goddam inn to the ground.

I hate Nazeem in Whiterun, so I decided to kill him. I liked the wife up until she sent thugs after me, so I killed her too. I hate Cicero, Ancano, Bibette, Jarl Balgruuf's snotty children, the cannibals, Boethiah(because I don't know if it's a man or woman), the entire Battle-Born Family.

I don't understand all that hate of Belethor. Yeah sure he is a slimy stereotypical salesman but so what?
When politicians are lying scumbags, athletes are cocksure and salesmen are trying to sell me crap I don't need with bad jokes I get this reassuring sense that all is well with the world.
