Arka's eyes looked fearful. "Hoofbeats?" She suggested softly.

Re: The Timestrider Prophecy
The sound of a tree falling passed by on the wind. The rythmic thumping was getting slightly louder.

"Those aren't hooves, Arka..." Vyr said, his voice shaky with impending panic.
"I feel compelled to...run."

Ferrumir yelled, "Then why are we standing here?" Ferrumir then took off.

Arka ran to the nearest door and hammered on it. "Wake up!" She yelled. "Everyone, wake up!"

Vyr did the same, with the door on the opposite end of the street.

Ferrumir followed, running and shouting nonsense down the streets.

Re: The Timestrider Prophecy
It didn't take long before an elderly man answered the door Arka was thomping at.
"What's the meaning of this?" he asked grumpily. "I'm trying to sleep!"
The rythmic sound was slowly getting louder, and whoever was in the house Vyr was thomping on didn't respond. Ferrumir's antics was so far proving unfruitful as well.

"Hear what?" the old man asked, leaning forwards.
-----
Another hexfolk man opened the door Vyr was knocking on.
"Hey! Knock it off, please. Or actually, don't knock it off. I'd rather like to see my door keeping its current upright posi... Who's playing the drums?"

"Speak up, girl!" the elderly man shouted. "I can't hear you!"
------
"What? Where? Are you absolutely sure?" the man Vyrnenrukh had disturbed asked. "Are you sure?"
-------
Meanwhile, Ferrumir's antics was proving a bit more succesful in the sense that it woke up people. ALthough these people were a bit grumpy as a result of not knowing why they were being woken, and the general nonsensical nature of Ferrumir's noisy antics.

Re: The Timestrider Prophecy
Ferrimur began running around in circles mustering high pitched squeals, almost like a siren.

"I don't know, outside the city! Don't plan on sticking around to find out!" Vyr yelled over his shoulder as he ran to the next door and started pounding.

Re: The Timestrider Prophecy
The old man ignored Arka completely, his attention caught by Ferrumir's running in circles.
"Someone give him a club to the back of the skull! It's impossible to hear anything!"
--------
The man Vyr had woken, along with a few nearby persons, started making their way towards the gate closest to the approaching sounds.
