why do i get ( repent your crimes wicked one ) when i press on the alter to get healed i've never seen it before

if your in the black hand thingy, you'll get that. not sure if you get it for just plain out killing too many innocent folk though.

Do you have a bounty on your head? I think one of the loading notes mentions bounties and an affect on temple use.

have yo upickpocketed, stolen, done something on accident or done something oyu should not have? I got the message in just one city after becoming the thieves guildmaster. I'm pretty sure it just happens in the city that you did the deed in because I then fast traveled to a different city and was able to be cleansed.

It's also possible your Infamy is too high, though I have no clue as how to lower your Infamy other then cheats.

your right i've been playing DB quests and my imfamy is higher than my fame. i've since done more good quests now my fame is just higher than my imfamy. so the chapel is my friend again .

For some reason, my imfamy became 100 and my fame 0 one on my character It really [&@%!] me off because it happened when I was like lvl 30 (I'm lvl 35 now), and had like 115 fame and 35 infamy. Now, I have 8 fame and 114 infamy (commiting crimes is fun).
Now, I can't heal at altars.
