best ways to get around (besides silt striders and boats)
best ways to get around (besides silt striders and boats)
my favorite way is by enchanting something to fortify your acrobatics really high. any other suggestions?
Know the borders of temples influence boundaries. Combining this knowledge with mark/recall and LITTLE walking you can cover huge distances by chaining divine/almsivi intervention. Recall to a place in the middle of nowhere, where 3 boundaries of 3 different tribunal temples influence meet, make a few steps in given direction and cast almsivi, you get to a town. Cast divine, you get to a fort by a different town. Cast almsivi again, but since some other tribunal temple is closer to the fort than the one you beamed to first (there was no other nearby fort to that temple, but there were more temples near the fort) you land yet elsewhere. Almsivi short way of Caldera gets you to Ghostgate, Divine at Ghostgate gets you to Tel Mora or maybe Vos...
And of course can be nicely combined with that acrobatics trick.

They had enough of his full crescent moons.

Play a Breton, get the boots of blinding speed, make a spell that gives you resistance to magicka (like 5 sec), cast it, then when it's taken effect, equip the boots and you will see a 'you have resisted magick', then your speed will be raised to two hundred something. At this point, even walking you get places fast, and if you levitate and stay close to the terrain (buzzing up & down hills & such) you'll easily be able to outrun most anything.
Edit: this was a necro-post, I was clearly much too excited to be here. My apologies.

same here. not only all the in-game fast travel options, but with the Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, the Boots of Blinding Speed, an Expensive Ring with a custom 1 pt. CE Levitate and a Telvanni Cephalopod Helm with a custom CE Invisibility enchantment, I can get anywhere in minutes unmolested. oh, and it also nicely solves the Drain/Damage/Fortify attribute problem, making it a non-issue. 100% Magic Resistance is a *MUST*.Newtinmpls wrote:I just play a Breton and wear the boots of blinding speed. Slowness problem totally solved.
