Dragur game
Okay, so think of this...
I would assume you have heard of the famous Call of Duty Zombie and Survival games. Now, imagine the concept of Survival, but with Dragur with weapons based on your round. With every round the Dragur numbers could increase and the roomcould get bigger. There could be a mystery box with spells and different weapons our in it or you could buy them yourself as the room expands. Co op would be allowed.
How does this sound?

Re: Dragur game
sounds fun to me
I think being able to use your skyrim character in a co-op gameplay mode that exists completely seperate from your actual game world (or anyone else's) is the way to go.
Having said that, I have no idea how, or if it is possible, but I admit I dont know anything about that technical stuff
It would be more or less "mindless" fun, however it would still maintain strategy and cooperation. It would be a great way for skyrim fans to interact, and also give you something to do when you've completed every quest with every type of player you care to make.

Re: Dragur game
It sounds fun but there would be a problem with characters, as in being level 50 would make it to easy if you start at level 1 standard 'draugr'
I mean at level 49, which I am at right now, when fully decked out it my gear apparently during Skuldafn it seems I can take one 3 draugr deathlords and one deathoverlord and come out with only 1/4 of my health taken away.
That combined with stats and skills make this more complicated, the only way it wouldn't be is if they just did away with them or give you 100 in each, and had you level up through exp than maybe theres a chance it could work.

Re: Dragur game
Maybe your character would be reset for the game, to make it more fun. You get points for killing Draugr and surviving waves of them and you can get weapons, armor, and spells to upgrade with. I think it's a good idea, as a multiplayer mode for Skyrim. And you would have different maps of Nordic Ruins, caves, forts, etc.
There's a thread about multiplayer, http://forums.uesp.net/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=26756

Re: Dragur game
If done properly, it could be amazingly fun. Just find a way to balance it out so the Draugr have a fighting chance against high level characters.

Re: Dragur game
Arena mode...With dragons! Just like Monster Hunter Tri. At the beginning, you select from four suits of armor and weapons, leveled depending on the difficulty of the dragon you are facing. The dragon has a vastly larger health pool, to stand up against co-op dragon fighters. For example, for a basic Dragon you choose from (Studded Armor, Iron Gauntlets, Iron Boots, Iron Helmet, Steel Sword, Steel Shield), (Steel Armor, Steel Cuffed Boots, Steel Greatsword), (Novice Robes, Novice Hood, Hide Boots, Iron Dagger, Ice Spike, Frostbite, Healing, Oakflesh), and (Leather Armor, Leather Bracers, Leather Boots, Hunting Bow, Iron Arrow (100)). Against the Double Ancient Dragons, you choose from (Scaled Horn Armor, Dragonscale Bracers, Dragonscale Boots, Scaled Helmet, Ebony War Axe, Ebony Shield, Fireball, Healing), (Dragonbone Armor, Daedric Gauntlets, Dragonbone Boots, Daedric Helmet, Staff of Fireballs, Daedric Dagger, Flamecloak, Blizzard, Fast Healing), (Orcish Armor, Orcish Gauntlets, Orcish Boots, Orcish Helmet, Volendrung), and (Nightingale Armor, Nightingale Gauntlets, Nightingale Boots, Nightingale Cowl, Ebony Dagger (2), Ebony Bow, Ebony Arrow (100), Invisibility, Lightening Bolt, Frenzy).

Re: Dragur game
Now you are talking. Would make for great dlc however fighting for the nords to me seems more of a way of life than a sport... but I loved the arena in oblivion so I would be all for it

If it was in-game, you could even have quests where you have to capture dragons for the arena, by coating your weapon in a special poison that only knocks the dragon out.

Re: Dragur game
For the level thing, you just could make something like a leveld draug specimen that gains health, basearmor and a troll regeneration ability that increase with every character level so that it may have like 50 health, 50-100 armor and 1 health per second at level 1 and at level 50 like 1000 health, 800 armor and 20-40 health per second health regain^^. In packs that wouldn't be so easy, at high level with daedric weapons also
.
Sound like fun if done properly!

Re: Dragur game
This sounds like a really cool idea. One possiblility to balance the game for high level characters would be there could be some debuff that could be applied to the characters that sets all stats to be a a certain level such as 100, 100, 100 like at start or something. It could also require that you enter the area using specific equipment that cannot be improved so it won't favor people that use the enchanting, alchemy, smithing round-about to get absurdly powerful weapons and armor.

Re: Dragur game
Or even better, just because it is multiplayer and honestly with these games if you want customization and attachment to your character, just play the single player game.
No need to include all the variables and exceptions that go with bringing your character into the 'draugr arena', make it so you pick one of the 10 races and from that 3-5 presets in the race. Then simply choose Warrior,Stealth, Mage.
It will be an arena to get the high score or survive, in other words its for fun, would you really be that [&@%!] that you can't customize/keep your multiplayer character, simple you want to play seriously play the actual game given to you.
Then from there make every skill 100, in your respective 'path/class', and in order to balance, you get money from every kill, and use that money to buy spell books/weapons/armor from a vendor (with a much higher price ofcourse, or just make each draugr give the standard 5-30 gold limit) and from that you buy ignots/leather etc.

Re: Dragur game
Talking of this, I often ask myself why does Skyrim not have an arena like the impeial city!?
I mean arn't the Nords mindless drunken barbariens (sorry couldn't resist) who love a good fight, seems like its the other way arond... I guess the civil war has made people have more important thing on there mind but an arean done right could of added 100s of hours of gameplay, fighting wolves, troll's and other fighters etc great for getting EXP
