JP III is better than JP II, there I said it.

That is a lie. JP II had a better and more realistic story, was scientifically accurate for its time, had better characters, and had that true JP feel. The makers of JP III just didn't capture it right.

Edit: And the ending was just amazing.

How is my opinion a lie? Goldblum makes me want to hang myself because he is so annoying, our "heros" keep getting people killed and it retcons the amount of kids Goldblum has. Also the ending was far from amazing, go watch Godzilla (original not rubish remake) or King Kong, The Giant Claw for a good monster destroys stuff movie. The 50's was full of them. Not that 3 is a good film but it is a better one.

I didn't attend my statement insultingly, and how many of those movies have a T-rex set loose in a city, or have a T-rex set loose in a modern city and are directed by Steven Spielberg. And even if you don't like Goldblum can't you admit that from an unbiased viewpoint the 2nd is a better movie than the 3rd.

Spielberg is great director, I have watched that part a few times it is well made (not amazing but good, that part alone is a better Godzilla film than that American remake.) That doesn't mean the film overall was good. I don't like JP III, you are probably right if you say the reason I like III more than II is because Goldblum isn't in it.

He just can't do serious for extended amounts of time..He should have at least tried speaking through his butt once or twice in the movie, at least I would have laughed WITH the movie, not at it.

It's funny, at least. You gotta give it a credit for that. I like that one.

Ohhhh, I completely forgot about that movie...I take it back, the script and director clearly couldn't direct the talent he/she had to save their own life.

Need to see it again though, forgot a lot.

Plenty of bad movies have been released through the years, to determine one as the worst movie ever is simply an impossible task. You might as well start counting atoms.

But if I were, to take a shot at telling people what is the worst movie ever, I'd go would something like "the Blairwitch Project" - the most boring mockumentary ever to see the light of day.


ps. when do we know if a thread about movies goes in the arts or multimedia? Do we just have to decide for ourselves if we consider the movie we are posting about as art?

I watched the trailer and that was all I ever needed to see of it. Interestingly Superbabies 1 is also among the top 100 worst movies ever made, they never learn..

I don't know that the worst movie I've ever seen is. Probably some chick flick, most of those I've seen have been pretty..brainless.

Okay not his best, but come on, who needs ''good'' storyline or dialogue in Jackie Chan movies? I had a blast watching it, but to each his own I guess. Like I said, while not one of his best, it's certainly one of his most representative films, you're sure to get what's all about Jackie Chan, the stunts, the fights, the comedy, it has it all.

As for him not being able to act, I never thought he was particularly bad. He was worse in some films, but he did some very fine performances, and apparently he's very good in Crime Story. And he's also obviously much more comfortable acting in Cantonese.

For kitsch movies Ed Wood is a boss. The likes of Plan 9 get into the so bad it's good category. The ones that should be at the bottom are the ones that achieve that and then had enough bad energy left to fall back down to bad from good a second time.
