Markarth (Damn right I moved!)

"For what reason?" the Steward asked. "I am not keen on disturbing the Queen in Rags."
Because there's no fun to be found in being normal.

Spoiler:
Nope. Solitudes black-on-red wolf for me.
It's Eddar, BTW. I am not copying Game of Thrones! It IS an ES Lore name!
Dawnstar
Eddar wasn't particularly interested in the city itself, he had been to Dawnstar countless times before. He made his way to the Castle itself, where the Jarl was in court. he quietly took a seat near the back, waiting for the court to conclude.

Markarth
"I am sure she won't be ill disposed to me, Steward." Bradenach said airily. "I bring word from my husband, Jarl of Haafinheim."

"No, but if I interrupt her, she'll most likely be ill disposed to me," the Steward remarked drily. "But I digress, go on in. I'll stay here."

Jarl Bethany walked through the elegant palace of Winterhold with the military general Astigar, who also happened to be her husband. Bethany had just called one of her 10 Thanes to the palace. Both Bethany and Astigar's family are nobles, and it was a famous decision by the Jarl to make all nine of them Thanes of Winterhold. In addition to their families, the Arch-Mage Javiel is an honorary Thane.

The Thane called to the palace was Hilda Harsh-Winter, Bethany's own mother.

"Hilda," Bethany addressed her formally. "You are to go to Solitude and report to Jarl Torrhen. Represent me well, Mother."

Eltee I think Kathwasten is still the capital because it is still coloured in blue on the map
Sunbask Forge

A contingent of guardsmen were sent fresh from Nimalten several days previous and were just marching in today, the previous contingent was all but wiped out by a series of attacks and ambushes held by Nord supremascists a week beforehand and the small town had been guardless since.

Spoiler:
Btw, that isn't my troop movement, that is just the original unit for Sunbask Forge there now

Falkreath

The Jarl of the Pale's daughter, Felara Rethan, had arrived in the city of Falkreath after about 5 days travelling. Although she was only 18, she had been rigoursly trained by both her father and the families steward to become a great diplomat for the Hold. She arrived with an escort, several Pale guardsmen, mostly because it made her much more secure as the Jarl's daughter would definitely be a target for Nord supremascists, but secondly, it was a show of force, Jarl Belvyn wanted to show the Jarl of Falkreath his best soldiers, so that he knew the alliance would be worth it.

Nimalten

The steward to the Jarl, Attrebus Faustus, an half-Imperial, half-Redguard man, was mounting up on one of the fastes steeds in the Pale by order of the Jarl to be an ambassador to the Rift.

Jarl Belvyn walked over to him, "Promise me you will succeed, this plan must go as planned, if not, it will most certainly fail".

"I will do my best, sir", Attrebus got ready to ride away, and paused for a few seconds, "Goodbye, I shall be back in a week or two", and with that he rode off out of the city, the populace in awe of the beauty of the horse the steward was riding.

Belvyn looked at the floor and whispered to himself, "We all hope you do your best", he then marched back into his long house, his guards following him in.

The court chamber was filled with civilians awaiting the sentence of a small, petty thief from the city's slums. Crime rates in Northshore dropped significantly with the rule of Rosteir. The smallest crime could be punishable by death.

The Jarl was not present within the chamber at the moment. She had retreated to a private hall to form a sentence for the criminal.

"Sphire of Dawnstar," a massive Nordic soldier read to the prisoner at the stand. The prisoner was a young Nordic woman with dark brown hair. She had been crying for the past hour. The only crime she had committed was the stealing of an apple from a fruit stand in the wealthy districts. "You are hereby sentenced to death by the honorable Jarl Rosteir the Stern."

Sphire burst into tears. Rosteir the Stern - the name fit her perfectly. Theft was as foul as murder in the Jarl's mind.

As Sphire was dragged away by the soldiers, the chamber began to clear.
"Uhh...Shut up, Beavis!"

Hilda, an older woman but clearly a proud and strong Nord, arrived in Solitude and made her way to the castle. "I am the diplomat of Winterhold, sirs." Hilda announced to the guards at the palace. Her voice was formal yet firm. "I believe I am expected here."

Javiel? I think I recall I used that name in the Molag Bal Game...
Markarth

Queen Iaestra was sitting on the mournful throne, staring down at Braenach with narrow eyes. Her blond hair was filled with glistening, dark red stripes.

"State your business, Reachwoman," she said in a neutral tone, not moving a muscle. "But be brief. I have important things to do."

Windhelm
Jarl Arelan Indaren sat on his throne, contemplating the situation. "In times of war, people need allies. Strategically, it would be good if we were allies with the Pale, seeing as it is close to the cities of White Hold, and we could attack from two directions. Then we could possibly have White Hold, and we would win the war, unless everyone teams up against us. But I feel as if there is something wrong."
A general spoke up. "White Hold will definitely have Pargran Village defended, though."
"Well, that's sort of the point. He would be spending troops on Pargran Village while The Pale attacks him from the other side."
"But it isn't enough, sir!"
"Send a courier to The Pale immediately, with a request for military alliance. Bring a gift."
A courier left the room with a gift.

"I request an audience with the Jarl," he announced to the guards outside.

Castle Dour
"You are expected." The guard said calmly. "Follow me, ma'am." He led her into the great keep, to the throne room. Dark crimson banners, stitched with Solitude's Black Wolf, hung along the walls. The Jarl Torrhen sat on his throne. When he saw Hilda enter the hall, he stood and made his way to her. "Welcome to Haafingar. I'm guessing you're the delegate from Winterhold." He said simply, extending his hand.

Markarth
Bradenach stood. "As you know, these are times of uncertainty all throughout Skyrim." She said. "After that failed landsmoot..." She shuddered. "Everyone needs allies, my Queen. Haafinheim is extending the hand of friendship, both to protect the people of that hold, but to aid in protecting the sovereignty of the Reach... Which, as you know, my lord the Jarl wholeheartedly supports."

"Yes, I am most honored to meet you. I am Hilda." Hilda shook Torrhen's hand. She learned that it was best to keep her relation to the Jarl as unknown as possible, to prevent kidnapping and ransom attempts. "I have the full confidence of Jarl Bethany Harsh-Winter to represent Winterhold while I am here."

"So you say, that Haafingar would be willing to rescind on Skyrim's claim on my Reach?" Queen Iaestra said, obviously suspicious. "And this is not just a trick to get us to lower our guard?"

Bradenach sighed. "I swear to you, on my life and on my sacred honour as a Reachwoman, Haafinheim supports your independence. Gods, my husband has been to Markarth and to Amberwatch. He can see that the majority of the inhabitants of the Reach want independence."

The diplomat known as Bersi entered Windhelm. He was a younger man in simple clothes, for that was what Bersi really was. He was a simple man.

Bersi approached the palace and the nearest guards he saw. "Hello," Bersi said, slightly nervous. "I am Bersi. Astigar of Winterhold is my brother. I have been sent as a diplomat to Windhelm."

Bradenach nodded with a wry smile. "Any nonviolent dissidents can be sent to Snowhawk. I think that we both know what will happen to the violent ones." She bowed. "I know paper and ink has no meaning in Markarth..." She drew a small knife, and made a cut on her palm, before extending her hand to Iaestra.

Iaestra nodded slowly, before rising from her throne and walking down next to Braenach, ripping open her palm with a spike on her outfit.

She shook the hand of the Jarl's wife.

"Yes we do. They get to be warpaint."

Ormis sat alone in his room. He laid down, thinking of the people of Falkreath. He chose to wait for any events to happen, unaware of the messenger group arriving in his city.
