Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Norton Antivirus (paid) is the best, although Avast! does a very great free service as well.
But good news, everyone! The lady who ninja'd me on my dream apartment backed out yet again, so I was woken up by the realtor telling me it was all mine if I came in and signed the papers - which I did! So now I have a place to go and that's great news for my little brother, who is going to come live with me. It's a great area for him and that makes me very happy!
I hope nothing ends up being wrong...but I'm in a positively grand mood now!

For a free program it does a wonderful job.
Also they just moved to Android, so I'm really happy about that.

Yeah I hope that I'll eventually get hired by "try & hire" or something like that.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
I wrote my first legit textwall on the differences between the MQs in Morrowind and Oblivion, and to an extent Skyrim. My textwalls have fallen short in the past, but this one was truly worth of the name. I copied into Word, and it was almost 3 pages single spaced. That's a college paper haha. I wrote it for somewhere else, so I may tailor it to fit this site and post it here.

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
Today, I got ready for my first day back to school after the break extra early, getting my fleece socks, boots, two coats, and russian fur hat on, and even arrived at the stop 10 minutes early. Let me give you a minute-by-minute summary.
6:50 AM: "Can't wait for this to be over with."
6:51 AM: "Maybe I should've gone a little later."
6:52 AM: "You know, the Daggerfall theme seems appropriate right now."
6:53 AM: *starts doing an a-capella rendition of the Daggerfall theme*
6:58 AM: *finishes Daggerfall theme*
6:59 AM: "Hurry up..."
7:00.50 AM: "I hope it's just my obsession with being on time that's making me irritated."
7:05 AM: "There had better be a good excuse for this..."
7:06 AM: "I swear I'm going to follow that bus driver home and eat his dog if he doesn't show up."
7:07 AM: "AAAARRRR- Oh, it's 7:07. Like the plane!"
7:08 AM: "AAAAARRRRGGGGG"
7:09 AM: "I can't feel my toes."
7:23 AM: "Our tax money is being put to good use here." *walks back home, goes to UESP, and whines about problems*

Re: The 'What happened to you today' thread
First day back at school today. I only have 11 weeks of secondary education left, and then it's off to uni. Pretty average day. I had lessons that weren't particularly boring, and some that were. And a maths test. On the first day back. *shudder* Promised myself that I'd do some work in my last two free periods, but that never happened because I ended up talking to some people about Skyrim. It's good to be able to say a word like 'Markarth' or 'Vaermina' to someone and not have them look at you strangely. And someone on the bus who I'd never in a million years thought would play Skyrim decided to tell me that he'd got it. I pretended not to be too stunned, then by the time I got off I'd worked out an entire plan for him to defeat the first boss.
"All right people, we created this multi-billion dollar facility under Cheyenne Mountain so that we can use this thing. Anyone know how?"

Nope. I called my mother to let her know, and, seeing as she wouldn't get out of work until 12:30, means I would practically miss the entire school day (I go to public school part-time, and do the rest at home.), so she decided to let me stay home and catch up on my homeschooling.scribbane wrote:So what? Tomorrow I have the second round of the "Georg Mohr-math competition". Only 15 students from all gymnasiums (Danish high school) in Denmark can go through that round.
But if one does get through, they might have a shot at the Math Olympics.

Today I woke up, cleaned up a bit, went to collage, came back home, briefly visited a church for reasons not what you're probably thinking, visited a relative, and now I'm back home.
During all this time, I was planning. Sadly, I think I'm not legally allowed to call it a plan at that point. At this point, it's a Looney Toon.
This is gonna be fun.

2% of forum users think that putting in that "98% of forumers say fast travel ruins Oblivion. Put this in your signature if you're one of the 2% who realize it's optional" is cool. Don't put this in your signature if you are not a complete tool.

Anyway.
Today... or more like tonight I won two auctions.
First one I won was this nice little set: The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Soundtrack from the film 'More', Ummagumma, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle and Darkside of the Moon (original prints, vinyl).
Second one (I think this one is way cooler): Captain Beyond - s/t (original vinyl print as well)
Now give me a job.
