First of all it's "you've pulled". Never heard anyone use the term "you're pulled" in my entire life.

Second of all it means to "You got yourself a partner for casual sex or a relationship". Nothing else to it, and it definitely doesn't have any similarities with gutting fish... don't listen to the jank cretins.

I have played a game called "Baby do you Love me?" which is basically, try to get a person (it's supposed to be of the opposite gender) to smile, by basically flirting with them, I am not very good at this game... I've tried just about every line from the Weird Al song that I linked to lyrics last page... some worked better than others, it helps if I can keep myself from laughing while saying the lines.

The BBC is filled with the upper-class, it's best not to take notes from them lot on British slang terms. Also don't use the internet to look them up... a lot of the time they are completely wrong, especially if you get a Northerner describing them.

I remember having few drinks with a mate, in a club & I overheard a conversation between a rather arrogant young man & a rather lovely looking young lady. They were arguing over the subject of abortion. The man took the 'no woman of mine will get an abortion I won't let her" & the young lady said "isn't that the woman's right to decide" he then scoffed & I took my opportunity. I said "I'm really sorry for interrupting, but don't you think it's about the woman's right to chose & what a woman does with get body is her own damn business" this impressed said young lady. I then went on to say "I font necessarily agree with abortion, especially if used as a method of contraception, so I might suggest to whom ever I got pregnant to go full term & I'd raise the child". Though I'd support her no matter what the decision she made". This approach worked on so many levels. Appearing to be respectful to a woman's right (which I am), to show the true strengths of a man (which I hope I have) & showing an overwhelming sensitivity (again something I believe us a part of me). As much as this was a tactic to ingratiate myself with the lady, it happens to be part of who I am.

The result.

Well, one of my mates swore that simply saying "Hey you! Lets [&@%!]!" worked as a pick-up line.

He got kicked out of 3 bars in one night, his street cred is at an all-time low.

I find the best way to get someone to notice your affection is to just talk. All you have to do is initiate the conversation somehow. A good pick up line can do that if it's funny, but most of the time they end badly.
