What are you reading at the moment?
Not sure if this has been done before way back, but here goes...
Right now I'm reading 'The Bone Garden' by Tess Gerrittsen, set in the world of 'Resurrectionists' of the early 1830's (grave-robbers who stole corpses to sell to medical schools to dissect). Loving it so far!
See, I do find time to tear myself away from the PS3 now and again! Anyway, let me know what you're reading at the mo.

"The Nine Divines are boring. Daedra? They're never boring!"
Never sound retreat, part six of the lost regiment
Basically a regiment from civil war Usa find themselves lost in an alien world after a storm at sea
And of course there's the man eating evil aliens tha thave perfected the art of cooking humans
Heh, it's actually a very good book and the aliens aren't all that bad, they just happen to think that humans are cattle

At the moment I'm reading the Orc King by R.A. Salvatore...
I've read so many forgotten realms books.. like.. literally over 85% of every one published.... and I still have all the ones I've read on my bookshelf ^_^
I want to read 'The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time' again, but I can't find the book =/

No, I read while I'm typing. To myself; make sure what I'm typing is more or less accurate (emphasis on the less, mind you). I suppose some of us might be reading the keyboard as we hunt for the "u" key, and a few of the more cavalier WPM jockies might be nonchalantly staring out the window or collating the Johnson report, but it all boils back to the UESP General Forum.weka wrote:Actually I think you'll find that you were typing it rather than reading it?? Or are you one of these people that can only type if you read it back out loud to yourself as you go??!!

I can field that one!Deandra wrote:Why not just read the original version? (Foucault's Pendulum)Ayoub wrote:Just finished all of Dan Brown's novels...and can't wait until Solomon's Temple comes out (sequel to daVinci Code).
Because not everyone is a giant smarty-brain with the time and patience to pick their way through that minefield. It's like asking someone "Oh, why don't you just read Ulysses" or "It's only The Bible in Aramaic with exhaustive liner notes written by Derrida, how hard could it be?"
Because it would so totally lack the Dan Brown Formula:Deandra wrote:Why not just read the original version? (Foucault's Pendulum)Ayoub wrote:Just finished all of Dan Brown's novels...and can't wait until Solomon's Temple comes out (sequel to daVinci Code).
Guy wakes up -> gets phonecall -> goes to foreign place -> finds out about old man's murder -> meets old man's attractive daughter/granddaughter -> embark on one hell of a quest -> the person helping them all along turns out to be the evil mastermind -> book ends in love scene.

...and diplomacy continues to fail. Their ears fall deaf, and their eyes fall blind, yet they are still not mute. They will not know their errors. Only what they believe themselves. But we... we shall not be silenced.
