Either Azura, 'cause she's a benevolent Mistress or Boethiah, as he was in Morrowind, definitley not as she was in Skyrim though. I would consider Hermaeus Mora, but I'm not sure he'd be a great Master, considering he'd toss me aside as soon as my usefulness was at an end. The knowledge is tempting though. On the balance of all probabilities though, most likely Azura.

I think I would probably worship Julianos, god of wisdom and logic. If it were a Daedra, I would choose Hermaeus Mora. Knowledge is something I value highly.

Lorkhan, he's a Daedric Prince that does not receive the recognition he deserves. I think that Mankar Camoran was right when he said that Tamriel is nothing more that Dawn's Beauty. He basically created Tamriel as it is known, anyways, and may, in my opinion be the nature of the world itself. Plus, the Altmer hate him, so he get's lots of points for that.

There is no proof that Lorkhan was Daedric prince.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
Well, we have the evidence that he was around at the creation of the planes, when the only beings were the Aedra and the Daedra, other than Anu and Padomay. This would leave him in the category of one or the other, and the very nature of his personality leads us to place him in the Daedra category. Plus the fact that Mankar Camoran referred to him as a Daedra and the book Varieties of Faith in the Empire refers to him as "The Missing God," he could easily be put into either category.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
Though he was the cause of the original change, and therefore expresses traits of the Deadra, as a part of the creation of Mundus I would assume Lorkhan would not fall into the Deadra category. Though he is still most certainly a god so his worship seems no less relevant, whether Anu, Padomay, or Sithis aligned.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
His correlation with the Daedra and Aedra is very much in dispute, however, as I said in my first post, I believe that Mankar was right when he referred to Lorkhan was a Daedric Prince whose plane of Oblivion was Mundus. Of course, I've always been for the conspiracy side of The Elder Scrolls, as I also believe Talos was heavily influenced by the Underking.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
Mankar's work does make a convincing argument and the only detail keeping me from joining you in your stance is the difference between Nirn and the Mundus. I do accept that it may be possible but I must remain skeptical until full proof can be provided. If only we could ask the ancient Mer. The Aedra each gave of themselves completely and, as I understand, are the Earthbones. My biggest question remains is Lorkhan immortal? If not then I would have to say he was most certainly Aedra. In either case I fully respect your decision to follow the Doom Drum. I will go back to watching and enjoying everyone's replies in silence.

I believe not all the Aedra gave themselves completely, I think 8 divines are actually the only remaining Aedra, and didnt fully commit themselves to Nirn....Huntershound wrote:Mankar's work does make a convincing argument and the only detail keeping me from joining you in your stance is the difference between Nirn and the Mundus. Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
Joey, I thought it was the exact opposite. They were the eight that completely gave themselves, and that's why they have the abilities in the world that they have. I could be quite wrong, however.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
The Daedra are beings who didnt help create the Mundus, Lorkhan did help, meaning he can't be a Daedra by there very definition (at least the modern one,) and even by the elven definition meaning "not our Ancestors" refers to those who didnt help create the Mundus also, so Lorkhan can't be and Daedra. I think he was just a regular Et Eda and can't be called an Aedra or Daedra, even though he fits in with the Aedra more (even though they killed him, but the Daedra also turned on one of thier own, Jyygalag, so that doesn't discredit my claim)
Edit: Id also like to note that Jyggylag was the Daedric prince of Order while Daedra are known to be beings of change, so he doesn't really fit thier sphere even though he is one. Its kinda the same if Lorkhan was a Aedra. Aedra are beings of stasis and yet Lorkhan was a being that represented change. Maybe (assuming Lorkhan is an Aedra) that there is something behind all of this. Each groups of Et Eda turning on those that don't fit there sphere of power.

Re: Who would you worship, in a world of Daedra?
This was my understanding as well. If i'm not mistaken it is the reason the 8 are mortal. They were the eight that completely gave themselves, and that's why they have the abilities in the world that they have. I could be quite wrong, however.
This is my point of turmoil. The creating of the Mundas puts him with the Aedra yet the fact that he went against the normal state of being and cuased a change are signs of the Deadra.
This is perfect. If it is all true then it would make the most sense.Edit: Id also like to note that Jyggylag was the Daedric prince of Order while Daedra are known to be beings of change, so he doesn't really fit thier sphere even though he is one. Phynaster. I want to be immortal to I figure he is a good place to start. Magnus follows in close second.
