"You can take a seat of you like." said Mel to the Orc.

[Samaelthedestroyer]

"Thank you, miss." He replied, pulling a chair up.

[Crepe the Ashlander]

"Oh an orc, seems the Shattered Axe was the place to be in Windhelm these days", Andarys laughed at the sentiment, "Hardly, anyway, i'm guessing you're from Orsinium, I find you very rarely see an Orsimer outside of the city".

Ah, what the heck... just some random college in Morrowind or anything, but I still live in Winterhold.

One night, a stranger showed up in Sondil's house: "Come with me to Windhelm, I have some answers". Sondil gave him a glare look, knowing he shouldn't trust strangers, but he knew this is about his old deceased friend, so he decided to come along.

"So, who are you?" he asked. "Oh, just an ordinary traveling merchant. No one important, really."

They arrived in Windhelm.

"Listen, I can't tell you everything right now. You need to lay low for a while. Fit yourself in", said the stranger, "Here's a few coins, rent your self a room at the inn for a couple of nights. I'll contact you again within few days. Please, don't leave."

He then turned around and left Windhelm.

"So, what should I do now?" Sondil asked himself, followed with a sigh.

Ocoto went outside the city walls and scouted some nearby caves. He got into a fight with the local populace - a bunch of frostbite spiders - and killed them all.

[Kerr]

Mel finished her meal. "So did any of you see that thing in the sky last night?" asked Mel.

Ocoto returned to hear the Breton ask this question. "If you mean the dragon then yes. It was over in the Velothi mountains. Some adventures where going to slay it. Or do you mean that shooting star?"

[Kerr]

"The star. Never seen anything like it before." said Mel.

"Hmmm... It was to close to be a star. A meteor maybe?"

[Crepe the Ashlander]

Andarys looked at the Altmer and back to the Breton, "Maybe, it could be a meteor, it could be", he paused, "I was told on the way here that there were three that feel to Nirn, all on the same night, it seem's more like the work of higher powers than a simple comet".

"Hmmm... Maybe a Daedric artefact? I know Malacath has something of a... penchant for mortlas. One of his artefacts actually damages his kin." Said Ocoto.

[Kerr]

Ocoto seems to know more than he should, seeing as that artifact was just made.

"You seem to know lots about daedra. What is it you have against the good daedra?" asked Mel.

It's in a book in Skyrim. I'm assuming that this is a different sword.

"Good daedra? You mean Azura? Well, there's nothing wrong with her I suppose but I hate Molag Bal and Mehrunes Dagon. They oppose Auri-El so they oppose me." He said pompously.

"And nedes? You have made more than one bitter remark about them." added Mel.

Fun fact Hircine has an artifact that can hurt daedric princes, including himself.

"Nedes... Well, many of my family have been killed by Nedes. I won't attack them on sight but I need only the smallest excuse." Growled Ocoto, angry at the fact that his two most hated enemies where referenced in one conversation.

Please don't assume the sword is something in any of the games, and just because it's in a book in a game doesn't mean your character knows about it, this is the first era after all, plus how could you assume it's a Daedric artifact, they don't usually hurtle towards the planet.

"I don't have a problem with Nedes, fair enough my homeland suffered from a problem with them a few decades ago, but the Nords were just doing what any empire would do, after all the Ayleids did the same to the Nords for a period of time if I remember", he took a sip from his mead, "Anyway this is far too a serious topic for a drink at an inn, I heard that a local collector will be making a big speech tomorrow, it'll probably be some rich old Nord wanting to add another rare alchemical ingredient to his collection, you know these collectors', I swear they are the most pedantic people in Tamriel".

"Agreed. I actually came here looking to buy something from one of those collectors but he went and got killed on me. Some nobles think that bandits will bow down to them." He shook his head.

[Crepe the Ashlander]

"Yes, some of them should at least bother to protect themselves, just because they have an 'ancient hero's sword' doesn't mean they know how to use it", Andarys chuckled, "To be honest one of the main reasons I am here is because I heard rumours that there are many collectors here, and all of them pay big, and what I need now the most is gold".

"Well, I'm off to get that Tome. don't worry. I'll leave some money for the bodyguard."

[Samaelthedestroyer]

"We have that in common, chimer. I was hoping they'd need someone to clear out a ruin or something, they don't like orcs much though."

[Kerr]

"I would love to go on an adventure like that. Have a chance see the world outside the city." said Mel

Ocoto returned with the Tome. It was heavy and dusty and branded with an odd-looking seal. "Hmmm... This is ancient. Very ancient." He rested it on the table in the Inn. On the front were scribbles and scrawls. He looked closer, trying to read it. "This is an ancient language. I can see some Nedic, Altmeri and some other languages that as of now I can't comprehend."

[Crepe the Ashlander]

"That was quick, to be honest you couldn't have been quicker, it's getting dark", Andarys took another sip from his mead and looked up at Mel and the orc, "Well, all you have to do is have a small amount of gold to buy your first weapon or two and some protective clothing like armour and you're ready to begin bounty hunting, as long as you choose the low risk, less popular jobs at first you should be already", the Chimer coughed some acknowledgment at the new gold the Breton was now carrying, "You just have to look out for the jobs that will make you".

[Samaelthedestroyer]

"Be sure to stay away from trolls, countless beginning adventurers have lost their lives to those furry monstrosities." He added. "My first job ever was to kill a troll who had been preying on merchant caravans. If the beast wasn't so clumsy and didn't fall off a bridge, I probably wouldn't be sitting here."

Ocoto managed to tear himself away form the tome. "Yes, trolls are terrible beings. Also, be wary of Daedra. Many inhabit caves. You should consider learning a healing spell. I could teach you one."
