Does anybody know if it's possible to switch Daedric Artifacts with Martin after I've already submitted one to him? I unfortunately gave him Azura's Star, not knowing it's full potential, and now I'm really regretting it.
If I can't get it back, is there any skill/attribute that I can raise high enough that I can recharge my enchanted items myself? What's the most efficient way to recharge magical weapons without Azura's Star?
Any help's appreciated!
Big Mistake - Giving Martin my friggin Azura's Star

Ouch! Though its nice to have that, you don't really need it.
-You can take dozens of soul gems from different mages guilds (without being stealing if you are a member).
-In nearly every guild, there is one member who sells them.
-They are also for sale from most magic or alchemy related shops.
-Most neuromancer or conjurer filled caves, forts, and ruins will have them laying around too or frequent loot in chests.
If you are early in level this may be a big set back.
However, if you are high in level and heavy in gold its not a big deal at all since you can buy them at shops for enchanting and just go to certain guild members to recharge your weapons. Most Mage Guilds have a member who can recharge weapons for a fee.
To fill soul gems I use a simple "sould trap" spell (I hot key it so I can use it at the last second right before they die).

I like Cheesedip!
If it's any consolation there are loads of us who did it when we were noob, not realising that you can actually get Wabbajack at the same level (it may be fun, but it's not as useful as the Azura Star) - I did it with my first char -ouch! Only way you could get another one is to add it with the console, sorry I am not at my own PC or I could give you the code...
Thanks guys, I'm actually playing it on the 360 so no hope of hacking it back in there. Oh well, I'm high enough in level and rolling in enough dough that I can easily stock up on empty soul gems, I'm just real thankful they are recreated at the shops every so often after I buy em; don't know what I'd do if they just disappeared forever!
So I guess that's a no to whether or not the ability to recharge weapons myself without use of other items is possible. I just assumed that maybe it was a higher step in say, maybe Armorer since an early bonus for that skill was the ability to repair magical items. Oh well, woulda been sweet and incredibly convenient!

The Sanguine Rose summons a random Daedra, although from my observation they seem to be levelled. When one of my chars was level 30 something she decided to clear out the necromancers from the Dark Fissure near Cheydinhal. She went in dressed in her Black Hand robes just to spice things up (none of the unfortunate residents spotted that they were the wrong black robes until far too late). Let's say casting the Sanguine Rose produced heaps of Daedroth and Xivilai, and when she then also used the Skull of Corruption to get the necromancers fighting their own corrupted clones/evil twins, the result was carnage.Anonymous wrote:i gave him the Ring of Namira, which probably wasn't smart. Now that I think of it, I probably shoulda gave him the Rose of Saugine. Nots sure what it even does.
As an intriguing bit of background for our Martin, I have never given him the Sanguine Rose, but I understand that, if you do, he tells you he once possessed it himself. And we all know what we had to do to get that artifact... Personally I like Martin the more for his obviously extremely adventurous past!
